Also, re: planting trees, the area directly under the ship is always densely planted. I'm not touching the trees near my home because they provide a good view and a good place to hang a torch.

Well, I fought me some eye of Cthulhu and eater of worlds, had silver armor and gold weapons in a specially prepared arena as per the wiki, and it was easier than I expected. Only a couple close calls and the worm killed me once. Now I have a full set of demonite armor/tools/weapons.

I think I will probably relocate to another world now, kinda sucks that whatever glitch that emptied the chests in my house also emptied the chests in the sky islands and the deep underground.

Just finished my first dungeon runthrough, after killing skeletron with the minishark and about 1.5k musket rounds. Really, it was pretty easy, just running back and forth on the flat ground outside the dungeon holding M1 (actually felt a bit like playing pyro in TF2  ) until it died.

Also, found this out: easiest way to kill the Eater of Worlds repeatedly with mid-range gear is to set up your platform, call it, and then spam the vilethorn while wearing a full jungle set, as this gives you unlimited mana (due to the fact that the VT only costs 3, and penetrates all enemies and terrain), allowing you to kill it while only using one or two potions.

Kinda depressing actually, now that all I have left to get is the sunfury and flamelash...

Jungle armor, as the best armor in the game for mobility and caster characters while being among the best in pure defense, is most definitely NOT "mid-tier" equipment.

And the vilethorn is awesome, while not the rarest weapon I'd also put it near the top of the tier list as well.

I dunno, grey and red brick ones look housy enough for me. Wooden might look a little more fitting amidst the greenery though. Down in hell, a wooden house is silly.
