FIREBALLS! Burn the cultists!
They dare lay hands on a wizard? They will feel the true power of your wrath! You roll up your sleeves and concentrate on shooting blasts of flame from your hands. (1) You set your arms on fire. Oh gods oh gods put it out put it out!!! (damage:6) The flesh is burning off of your arms. The FLESH is burning OFF of your ARMS! AAAAAAGH! (5) You manage to smother the flames in a nearby fountain. But now your hands are in terrible pain and you can barely use them.
Dermonster: Charred flesh: -1 to arm-related rolls.
Skill point gained: Putting out fires

Try again.
Using your half-brick finding, sock-making, and brawling skills, you create a new ability: Half Brick In A SOCK! You use this new ability to create bolas, and throw them at the cultists! (4) (dodge:2) You tangle up one of the cultists, and he falls on his face! (damage:3) It looks like he's just bruised. And angry.

Using my "medicine" knowledge to aim at vital organs i throw scalpels to the nearest cultist. Also, take cover before that.

NINJA IGOR!
(3) You go back into the group of hostages and take out some knives. (2) Which you drop onto the floor. You waste some time picking them back up and putting them into your bag.

Hit the Cultist that grabbed me with my purse.

Morph it into Tungsten a split second before impact.

You swing your purse (now with a delightful skulls-and-bats pattern) at the nearest cultist. (1) And drop it on your foot. (1) You turned it into a metal much heavier than tungsten beforehand. And it hurts. (damage:5+1) Your foot is broken. And your shoes are ruined! RUUUUIIIINED! They must pay.
D. Rex: Broken foot. -1 to dodge, other agility.

Now that i am unobtrusive, attempt to to throw a knife at the head cultist without them knowing it came from me
Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky... (4) (dodge:6) You throw some knives at the head cultist, but he moves out of the way like a trained acrobat! You try to conceal your actions, (1) but fail miserably. Three cultists fire their crossbows at you! (2, 1, 4) (dodge:5) One drops his crossbow, and another shoots himself in the foot, but the third goes straight at you! You dodge it easily.
Skill point gained: projectile dodging

Take back my arm and slap them with it! How dare they, honestly...
Seriously, the nerve of these people! (2) One of them stops you from getting your arm and shoves you back into the group of hostages. How dare he! This is blatant lifeism!

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Use my charisma to walk straight out. Make sure to mention that my heart is probably half-rotten by now...

"You know, I'm dead. So... You wouldn't get anything from killing me..." (2+1(Art of Charisma)) The don't let you go, but they do start to ignore you. It seems that they're not interested in you. You take a better look around. The cultists (all wearing boxers and t-shirts) seem to be preparing this next victim (a guy in a priest's robe) a little more than the others. And then you realize: they're trying to summon something. That's what the sacrifices are for. And, since they are cultists of Bel Sham-Haroth, it's probably him they're trying to summon. This would not be good for the Maul. Or for Ankh-Morpork in general. You can see the runes they drew on that counter glowing slightly. This might be bad.

WHAATTT???   Wreck my shoes!!?

Hans Uristenstein! That's it! You focus your godly power... (2) And fizzle slightly. It seems that even in a sanctuary to fashion such as this, your powers aren't strong enough to make something that's not in fashion yet. You might only be able to make things that are commonly worn. Or that everyone wants to wear.

Combine skill points in Projectile dodging, rapid strike and precice striking, to gain the ability
"Return Fire" If i dodge a ranged attack i have a chance to grab it mid flight and trhow it back

Knife FLURRY
You take out a few knives. You jump up and (2) drop your knives with a clatter. How is this possible? How is everyone failing so badly? Raaagh... (Luck:6) At least the cultists didn't notice you... Still a very boring corner by the way.

Healing magic on ARMS!
You focus your mind on your arms. You remember how they are meant to be, and, focusing your will, (3) you do absolutely nothing to your arms. (luck:1) In fact, you managed to lose your fingers on your left hand. This is very bad.

Axe to the face!
YAAAAAAAAH! (2) (dodge:4-1) You smash your axe into the floor beside the cultist. (luck:2) It's stuck in the floor. Damn. This might be a problem, seeing as the cultists are closing in...

In case healing magic fails, go help derm. If not, attemp to ninja igor again
You see the wizard writhing in pain, and go over to help. You combine your "medicine" and !!SCIENCE!! skills for the ability "Probably healing". (6+1(skill)) (sanity:3) You manage not to hurt him as you heal him masterfully. His arms are fine, and probably better than they've ever been. You cured his addiction to tobacco while you were at it. And fixed up the rest of his body. With five scalpels, a roll of gauze, some needles and thread, and a lot of hope.
Skill point gained: Improvised healing
