I just spent the weekend playing this.  I'm a cheater, so I got 1 billion gold and 1 million plat to start. 
Hemorrhaging dosh like some uninformed kid that recently acquired a black tier credit card.  As for the plats, surprising that I havn't spent more then 5k yet... and I've been using it every chance I get.

Apparently specialized shops still sell 'other' goods.  The general store has a base chance of 'not making a sale' from what I read in the wiki.  The specialized shop sells everything without the 'not making a sale' modifier it feels like.  Cause I decided to throw random things in there to sell in the specialized shop cause the general store was full.  They get sold too, cleared out much quicker too.  The backlog of random crap I picked up to sell is empty and I can actually use 1 shop instead of 2.

The quality of life changes from whenever I played last(years ago) is superb.

Karma is overrated and maintaining it is super inconvenient.  Especially when you are trying to grind the unique from the thieves guild questline and people get in the way with the 'Guard! Guard!' -5(-3) karma from out of line of sight.  Did you know the thieves den resets every few days?  Lotta murder happens down there ya know.  And apparently nukes don't want to blow up the heavy things or the safe...

On a positive note, I can now gang up on the king and murder him without anyone dying.  (Yay, I didn't have to set-off a nuke daisy-chain right next to the throne...)  Which is a first for me, since I never made it this far in power level before now. 

Playing as Fairy Claymore.  I like the concept.  Just hard to find a good claymore for her... well, once I find enough flying scrolls and a good claymore I reckon.  Took awhile to find a decent weapon in the first place. 
Still the issue of my party getting devastated by area attack enemies like the hounds.  The Nurse from the slave market is actually pretty decent healer now that her AI is fixed, especially when you are wandering around overburdened.  No need for emergency rest-stops.  No more 'I wasn't paying attention so I died from overburdened+hunger/sleepy'.  I guess it is good training for her spell level.

After enough powering up of my character and his team (the starting Little Girl, a Living Armor, an Exile and a Gold Bell) Time to finally try to complete that minotaur quest obtained in Palmia.

The minotaur nest was still as annoying as ever to navigate , but finally reached the bottom and the minotaur boss finally showed up


Unfortunately minotaur boss didn't knew how much powerfull a Magic Dart can be when you have it leveled a lot.


Was disapointed by the axe of destruction picked on the loot , -35 to hit isn't much great for my melee allies despite the high damage,i prefered to have them keep their more accurate artifact stuff, as their damage was already good and the accuracy at least allowed them to hit regularly.
The boss leaving its figurine and card got my museum rating slightly nicer.

Rod of Domination. After Dominating one, give it a bow and arrow, it'll turn them into a monster.

As for killing it, Bells have extreme damage mitigation, and their speed lets them regen any damage you inflict to them.
That said? Throw a Poison, or bottle of Dye at it. Poison shuts down regen and bells have very few HP. It'll kill them near instantly.

Yeah throwing a bottle of poison or dye will usually kill them. Or if your character has the special squeeze ability it doesn't miss and usually kills them.

went to the festival of jure and got a body pillow of jure and also converted to her religion. now i keep getting tsundere messages everytime i sleep (i also dipped the pillow in a puddle of holy water, so now its blessed) and when i log.

found a blessed glass assault rifle and a glass power cell (power cells and bullets are interchangeable) in a minor randomgen dungeon on my way there. truly jure is the most dere of the gods.

As an addendum (which I also edited in), the Christmas Cake Set added in 1.74 also gives you a Lucky Day buff, and is a consumable (though apparently they should spawn in shops during December). Forget rushing to the casino when you sleep well, just stockpile these and pop one whenever you have enough casino chips for a long run of blackjack.

So I'm trying to play 1.73plus with custom, and I keep getting random crashes at scene changes. I'm running it with windows seven compatability. Any ideas whats causing it? The error is gibberish and locks the game, requiring an end task.

To get the obvious out of the way:

Did you allow the files that wanted to overwrite on installing Custom to do so?
Are you running the game with the Custom exe?
Are the scene .hsp files in the same top-level folder as the exe? (They are named scene1.hsp and scene2.hsp)

All three are yes's. It appears to be the same error as when you try to run it without windows 7 compatibility.

Maybe backup your save and do a fresh install? New version's out anyways.

I hammered random rolls a couple times for luck as usual when I genned my current character. Just now noticed something off in the stats.



TIL E+C has implemented midget skeletons as a player race. God damn she's malnourished or some shit. And running around with a sword that weighs nearly four times as much as her. I think I'm gonna turn this into a no-mount no-buff-magic run just for the hell of it, since the random background is the "impoverished family of warriors, left to find work" and fits so well already. 4'6" 33lb emaciated samurai child stabbing everyone's shins and eating their corpses.

Got Etherwind'd while doing a Harvest Time quest, which is as nonsensical as getting cursed equipment in a dream. Charisma dropped to 3, which is a major setback because I need another slot for selling slaves.

Does anyone know how to edit attributes? By cheating, of course.

On a side note... the fact that dead pets count towards number of allies is also complete rubbish.

If it's from an etherwind mutation, just get a potion of cure corruption. Easy way is to hit up the casino with single chip bets, all you need is a single 5 win streak, which is dead easy if you know how the dealer works.
