A low level character I was using to try some !!SCIENCE!! accidentally stumbled on something interesting. I got caught in the ether wind and grew ears which gave me a whopping +12 perception. After that, I saw the drop rate of corpses, figures, cards, and seemingly just plain loot dramatically increase. It might have just been a long string of luck, but I think perception might play a role in drop rates.
Anatomy is based off perception, so yeah. It does.

I didn't have the anatomy skill though.

Also, Is there a way to regain the charisma you lose when failing hunting quests? Asking the healer to restore my stats doesn't seem to do it :(

If you failed the hunting quest by dieing, the cha loss is off your base. You'll have to regain it the hard way.

*Kaitol hires a catering service to get some pork. It's rotten. Catering server gives it to Kaitol, they eat it, get sick, and suddenly hate the caterers*

Caterers get upset at Kaitol's disdain for them, asking why they ate it.

That is basically what you're doing. :P

Not really, They demand that you get a specific thing from someone, not somewhere. If they really desire that rotten thing, then thats up to them.

They want you to get a specific item and note that a person they know has one such item.
You can get them an item that you didn't take from that person.

also: i have played elona for 80 hours THIS MONTH ... I remember why i stopped playing. time to backspace + Enter Vernis again to get rid of the dragons.

Yep, don't die in quests. There were posts in the past (like, years past) that dying during events doesn't hit your stats but that has never been true in my experience, I've always had a hit to my stats when I die in them, no matter what version I'm playing. (Maybe only true if you're still in the "newbie" phase of <level 6?)

I think the stat loss from quest deaths was added in Elona+?

I remember party time being spammable for money even with low performer skill before switching to it

Question about the ranch. Should I leave some monsters alive(aside from the breeder) in it or is it ok if I murder them all except the breeder? Wondering if they breed faster with more.

Also, are there any good ways to make money early aside from constantly running from city to city doing quests?

Prostitution can be lucrative, although I try to avoid it due to the negative effects it sometimes has.
