I'm actually pretty sure your stats drop. Even on quests.

I know I've certainly seen stats decay when uniques and whatnot kill me during performance quests. I don't think I've seen it happen when doing hunting or escort quests, though. I certainly could be wrong, I very rarely take hunting quests (only when they are one or two stars, for easy platinum) and escorts quests even less (only 'save my father!' which don't involve fighting).

Discovered that 4-dimensional pocket can actually store multiple copies of the game's artifacts (2 Ether Daggers).

I've yet to try though, if I can get any of those stuff, without morphing, and dual-wield them for great justice.

If you get pregnant you will have the pregnant status. If it's your pets or NPCs you need to spot the message, which can be hard if you have quickling/bell pets as their high speed spam the message log.

What did the tutorial say about Etherwind? In any case you already have the disease, and it will slowly get worse over time. If you use ether weapons, encounter ether monsters (e.g. shining hedgehog) or get caught in etherwind, you will get the next symptom much sooner. Etherwind comes in months divisible by 3, randomly start on a day between 1st to 10th, and last for several days. It's easily avoidable, so it's your fault if you get caught in one.

I usually stay at home when the time comes. Fishing/Mining/Performance are nice skills to have when waiting for etherwind to start. Once it has started you can read a skill book in a shelter.

I almost always quit out of dying.  I don't think you can tell what items you drop, and it autosaves when you respawn, right?  I think I dropped my cooler one time in the puppy dungeon... that sucked.  Same with artifacts - I've never ever been effective in combat even WITH good equipment, so if I lose my good stuff I'm kinda hosed.  The RNG hates me, I don't want to wait around for it to decide to throw me a bone again.  :\

(seriously, I think the last two treasure maps I got didn't even have artifacts - or if they did, they were cursed and stat-draining)

Pretty fast though, I know I killed that girl who follows you in Yowyn every time. So in 1-3 days.

Is there a reason I keep seeing a death message I typed once?
I tried to type 'how lame' it came how 'how llama' now I can't stop seeing it when I play in the little message box.

how llama is one of the default death messages, so when someone dies and doesn't type one of their own that has a chance of coming up.

Well, they have a very high chance of giving birth to more prostitutes, and so far, I have gotten a few nurses and a single punk.

There's one thing to know though, the whole place will be littered with insane people, and a tame prostitute still has it's services available.

In the latest beta (which you're using if you're using my bugfixes), your Will and Charm drop when you die during a quest with its own map (hunting, performance, and maybe farming, too). Failing those quests by other means has no stat penalty. (For gathering and party times, obviously just neglect your job. For hunting, you can walk off the edge and choose to abandon the quest.)

You won't be able to use it many times in a row until you get a weapon that leeches stamina, which is quite rare. The "easiest" one to get is Lucky Dagger, by worshiping the Luck God. Which requires you to learn fishing and buy baits.
