Ah, very Religious, but non-theist. At best the Gods are cruel puppet masters who exist to torment mortals, at worst they do not exist at all. The beliefs of the Gnolls foster self independance and loyalty to the clan/Family/country over anything else, as well as maintaining the social status quo.

Well, I wouldnt take it personally. Your really isolated up there, and people have closer nations to trade with.
Less trade partners means more room to expand before you bump up against someone, so it can be a blessing or a curse!

I may be isolated up here, but I'm not too far from Taricus or Cript. Plus, look how wealthy trade is in the south.. Course I'm no slouch income wise and I'd add about ~200 to anyones coffers, via trade.

Plus, I have this nagging feeling I'm going to get killed. Not sure why.
