Yeah, N/N+ is probably the best platformer I've ever played. Tight controls, great variation in levels, enemies and elements, timer strict enough to make you keep a good pace without being agonizing... and it always felt like dying was a matter of you messing up or not having yet learned how something worked, save for those very rare times where you just barely slipped off the edge of a bouncy cube and had to walljump back up to recover.

*Alien Swarm stuff*

I never understood why Alien Swarm was taken off the listed games. It was still on steam but you could only play it if you knew where to look.

Alien swarm is awesome - I was always just put off playing it more as I knew there was pretty limited content, so this is fantastic news.

This sounds like the kind of thing that needs a thread for setting up multiplayer games of it.

I would totally be up for that. This is a game that would be much better with friends and such after all.

So Duck Game is having a free weekend right now and is also on sale for 50% off.

I highly, highly recommend this game if you're looking for something to play with friends. It's like Warioware mixed with Worms mixed with Smash Bros. Just ridiculously good fun.

Also the Steam Workshop extends the life of this game dramatically. Give it a try.

Is duck game fun with only 2 people? It looked entertaining in the videos I've seen of it but that has always been with 4 players or so.

Why not just try it out to see what you think? It's only 200mb and it's free right now.

I think its fun, but then again I'm usually pretty drunk when playing it.  Same goes for Towerfall.

The only downside is I wish it had more maps by default.

heh, got around to installing the Humble Freedom Bundle, there were so many games added to that bundle, that just over halfway through the list, that Steam key activation service packed it in and told me I was doing too many activations and have to do a cooldown period.

Urgh that's just embarrassing. The only two things of any use at all is the VPN (if you didn't already have one - but I've not heard of that company so not super reputable I guess) and Connectify if you're lazy/not super tech savvy.

Everything else is little better than just rubbing flour on your pc.
