To help derail the thread a little further and join the EA-hatewagon, if EA could, you know they would monetize nude mods as DLC. 20 bucks and you can see nude sims! No other features included, just nudity that's probably worse quality then what modders can do (and have done!)

I agree with BigD145 : Rebel Galaxy feels more like a Grind with no other objective than getting more powerful to kill bigger enemies.

I played it a good 10-20 hours, but after a while, it felt more like a Chore than anything else. The gameplay didn't feel really fun...

I think the core´s good enough, but it tells real fast that it's more a proof of concept than anything else. The story flies fast, and once that's done the rest of the game feels flat. Feature-lacking, I'd say.

The sad thing is that IMO it's just a few features short of real longevity (eg: adding a real faction system with sieges and the like actually having meaningful consequences would improve things A LOT)

I guess I've never considered it due to the sheer impossibility of EA discarding conventional wisdom about what's in your game and who will buy it because of that.

But if AAA developers and publishers started charging for nude textures and packs and stuff.....it would probably sell better than actual content packs.
