Both Kotors, the entire Jedi Knight/Dark Forces series, Battlefornt and Republic Commando all get my recommendation.

I never played KoTOR. I heard good things about it, though.
I remember playing a short demo of a SW game on the first Xbox which was pretty fun. You didn't even have to play as a jedi, you could just wander around shooting people. But if you did choose a lightsaber, I remember gleefully chopping bits off of people and watching their blackened hands and arms writhe around on the floor.

Yeah, definitely. Wasn't Jedi Outcast for the original Xbox/Gamecube/Playstation 2? It was years ago, but I'm pretty sure that was the case. But yeah, Jedi Outcast was really great and fun.

Choosing a lightsaber would be Jedi Academy. In that, at the beginning, you could choose the look and type of lightsaber you had. Hilt, design, double/single/duel, colour.

Those games had great lightsaber combat and combos.

Also throwing sand people up into the air with force choke.  With so much force their scream get's a doppler effect.  Also storm troopers on a cloud facility, so narrow platforms between buildings over bottomless pits. 

What I'm saying is those games were great fun messing with different force powers, well push and max level force choke.

Hey guys, Shadowrun Returns is five bucks, and the DLC is on sale, too.
Is it worth buying? Are there plenty of graphical options that can be turned down?
Is it... good?

It's pretty much the only thing on my wishlist that's on sale.

Edit: I'm looking at this UnderRail game and thinking I might buy it, instead.
Although I'll probably wait 'til I get home later before buying anything. impulsive spending is what makes me poor...

Didn't buy it yet, been also eying it myself since it came out. I remember someone saying it's pretty mediocre last time I saw this game mentioned somewhere on this forums.

However, I was watching some LPs and if there's ONE thing that's damn good about this game, then that's writing. I would buy this game solely for the dialogues which are, at least in my opinion, superbly written.
Then again, I also see nothing wrong with the combat or game as whole. I'd say buy it. I know I can't right now.

Shadowrun Returns is decent, nothing too amazing and a little short (took me 13 hours to complete) but worth a play through, and there's user made campaigns to expand its life (though I've not played any yet, so no idea if any are actually good). 

If you like turn based rpgs it's definitely worth it at that price.

I've not played the DLC so unsure about that.  And I've not played Underrail (I own it, but I'm waiting for it to become more complete before I start) so I can't make a comparison there.
