Well i took Patrician 4 since iwanter a hardcore trading game and P3 didn't run.

Also i noticed that Hard Truck Apocalypse is now availble on steam... it's a cool game but i would REALLY suggest waiting for a discount.

Hard Truck Apocalypse is decent, but one game that I really wish some developer would pick up and do a proper sequel to, is A.I.M., known over here as "Mechanoids".

I have 32 games on my Steam wishlist, and am having a heap of trouble trying to decide what to buy with my limited funds.
Would it be alright for me to ask for advice here, or would that be a derail?

Sounds fine to me. Steam Sales are primarily of interest because the games in question might or might not be worth playing, after all.

Windforge was on sale this weekend. It's only -10%, but I got it anyway. It looks like a game B12 would enjoy. Any game where you can murder whales and then turn their hollowed-out carcasses into airships can't be bad, can it?

I skimmed the Rock, Paper, Shotgun article and they weren't too happy with it. I think the idea was good but the implementation not amazing?

The notion that the answer to this question might be "yes" makes me very sad.

Surgeon Simulator 2013, Super Amazing Wagon Adventure, Viscera Cleanup Detail: Santa's Rampage, Rust*, RUNNING WITH RIFLES.

Pretty good, pretty good, kind of lacking in gameplay; needs more maps before it's really worth playing; solid gameplay but plagued with mediocre playerbase behaviour (shoot everything that moves just like dayz has become) and also server issues; also a solid game but with fewer caveats.

RPS is getting quite bizarre in their judgements lately. I would take their "wot I thinks" with some salt.

Race the Sun is rather unexpectedly fun. I don't know how difficult it seems for everyone else, but I'm having fun with it.

Thank goodness it changes the level set daily, since I'm already starting to get bored of the current set I'm playing. Simply put, I know how to beat the first 3 levels and maximize my score on them while at it. Being at level 15+ also doesn't hurt (actually, the perks given have also made things easier; but were still a challenge to earn. And fun challenges while at it.).

Seems somewhat worth the 5 bucks while it's on sale (10 at full), and being a beta, it still has room for improvement while it's still fun. I wonder what else they'll add over time?

Only one on the list I've played is FATE. It's the definition of bland. There's no plot, no direction in items, and no endgame. You grind until you don't feel like it anymore, then you stop playing. It was utterly unsatisfying.
