I go just outside the city to train and search for sellable stuff

That is most definitely not a bird.

I remove the leaf and try again. If it's still not a bird, I'll try a stick and test it.

I go to the shop and purchase an empty Objecticube, and then put my lemon candy into it, equip it to my bracer, and see what it becomes.

The lobster grabs the wolf, its powerful claws keeping hold as the cloth-creature flails! Dashing towards the turtle, it slams the wolf down onto the electrified shell!
The wolf goes up in flames! As thrashes wildly, and Ken recalls it!

The bear slashes at the turtle, drawing deep gashes along the shell! It counterattacks, but at this close range it can't rear up for a powerful kick! The bear blocks the blows!

Wallace charges ahead, aiming for Ken!
"This is a 2-on-2 battle! Recall your Objecticon!"
Ken sidesteps his kick, and yells back.
"You're the one who attacked me! If you're going to set up rules, do it before the battle starts!"
Ken punches, but Wallace avoids it!
"Fain, get him!"

The rodent jumps off the bear's shoulder, and launches an attack as it touches the ground! The electricity moves through the earth, melting Wallace's shoes which stick to the floor!

Furtuka heads off to the edge of town to train and salvage, with Kaguro accompanying him. Soon the two disturb a nest of birds, who attack!

Unpleased with the beetle, Nirur ejects it and tries a fresh leaf from a tree. The resulting Objecticon is a bird, green and sleek. It has no legs, but its wings are twice the size of Sudsy's, and its beak looks sharper.

Nat buys a cube, which brings her down to 50 monie.
As soon as she leaves the store, she stores her candie and slots it into her bracer. Her new Objecticon is a gauntlet, which induces a strange sensation when she wears it.

The group is in Burance. Furtuka and Kaguro are at the edge of Burance.

Lobster, Hammer the bloody bear! Turtle is to crush that rodent. Keep that bugger from getting a good hit on me.

I release the snake and attack. Also I count the birds and try to look for anything useful like weakpoints and ect.

I'll go to the outskirts of the city and see what Furtuka and Kaguro are doing. After that, I'll look for stuff to fight and scavenge.

If nobody minds, I'll go get information on that job Wallace found (I wonder where he went), then come back here. Otherwise, I'll watch the clouds.

The lobster, on Wallace's command, turns it's attention to the bear! It smashes the glass creature's leg, shattering it!
The bear retaliates, landing atop its smaller opponent and gouging with its claws!

The turtle breaks off, going after Fain! However, the lumbering creature is much too slow to catch the rodent!
The zeppelin has been slowly making its way across the field of battle, and finally unleashes an attack! Tiny cannons erupt fire from its underside, targetting the turtle and cracking its shell further! The network of electrical "veins" has been disrupted, lowering its ability to build and discharge electricity!

Wallace slips out of his shoes, regaining mobility!

Furtuka and Kaguro release their Objecticon, and prepare to fight!
The larger bird goes for the snake, but both evade each other's attacks!
The second swoops down on Kaguro, who bats it away with his spear!
Furtuka observes the birds for weak points, noticing their large wings and small talons. They don't seem to have any elemental attacks, and weak physical attacks, relying on speed to evade enemies.

Nat heads off to find Fur and Kaguro, coming across their fight with the birds.
She draws her marble, and attacks the larger bird! It fails to dodge, taking heavy damage!

The larger bird flies off, and the smaller follows.

Nirur heads back to office building, aiming to gather more information on the job offer.
He quickly locates a booth with the name "Excon", and approaches.
The man behind the booth is wearing the sleeziest suit possible, somehow making jet black look garish. Behind him are several apes doing paperwork, clad in similar suits.
Excon Recruiter: "Hey, young man! You looking for a job?"
His voice is rough, with an accent that reminds you of steriotypical old-fashioned movie gangsters.
Nirur: "Yeah, I was wondering if I could have more information on the kind of work you have for adventurers."
Excon Recruiter: "The Excon Burance branch is real small, so we mosty do supply, deliveries, little-league stuff. There's also mercenary work, pays much better. Not too hard, either."
He gives you a smile, revealing several gold-capped teeth.
