Dom kept her eyes on her work while answering Ashley. "Hmm? I have no idea. It was probably Taric's fault though. He's a weird little guy." She got another bandage out and continued patching James up. "See, the thing is... Taric, myself, and the boss, we're all psychic, but in different ways. My powers are more physical, though you mighta guessed that already. I do the stuff like move things with my mind. The boss is more subtle, I ain't even sure what it is but I think his powers mostly just give him little boosts here and there, like a little extra pop in his punch, y'know?" She tied off the bandage.

"Taric's powers are kinda strange, which fits him pretty damn good I'd say. He does stuff like get into people's heads and make them see and feel weird shit. There was this one time - this'll be new to you too, James, since you weren't around yet - in which he took one of those high-tech porn mags with a memory foam centerfold..." Dom blushed slightly but continued with the story. "...and groped it, and somehow he made the enemy unit think it was THEM gettin' groped... even the dudes." She laughed nervously. It was kind of funny but still weirded her right the hell out.

Dom scratched her head. "Yeah, I hear you. Hey, I had an idea just now. See, the three of us went through this thing called Orientation to learn how to use our psychic powers. If you got sent here, you're probably a psychic too." She glanced at Ashley. She didn't know about her; from the look of things she came here of her own volition and probably wasn't a 22. Then again with it being an entirely mental thing there was no way of knowing from a glance. Dominique returned her attention to James. "When we get some quiet time I can try to Orient you myself, but I gotta warn you, I'm pretty heavy handed. On the other hand your only other choice for it is Taric, 'cause I don't think boss can do it, and do you really want him poking around your brain?"

I'm pretty sure Tarran can do the Orienting, but Dom has no way of knowing that.
