You have a plan, one of the kind that comes naturally to you. Brilliant, unexpected, and completed unorthodox. Hunkering down so you're a smaller target you manage to grab the magazine out of your pack, you pull out the centerfold and start getting handsy, slamming the sensations from your fingers into the independents with all the force you can muster. [Mind bend roll 5+1, material aid Vs Will rolls 4+1 female, 2, 3, 3+1 female, 3, 4] (-25 Stamina) The effect is devastating, though you didn't quite do what you intended. Instead of transmitting feelings from your fingers directly to the independents, you temporarily made all of them feel like the centerfold print itself. The women aren't as badly affected as the men, -they've been women for years- but the shock is still surprising and throws their balance off. The men on the other hand are completely out of their depth, floundering about and trying to stop Taric's illusory fingers from touching them. Ivan takes it better than most, but he still looks like a dying fish gasping for air.

Male independents -1 to all rolls for 2 turns, stunned, must make will roll to avoid being stunned next round as well.

Dominique Wakeman"Shit," Dom said, observing the scene before them. She immediately drew the Nova grenade, started the timer, and hurled it at the mass of enemies. "Here's hoping this works..." she muttered, reaching out with her mind to try and ensure the grenade landed dead center between the six independents.
Taric has that porn mag out again, the really isn't the fucking time for that now! Then the independents with the guns trained on your group give a collective gasp and begin floundering in their own bodies. Okay, you have no clue what that guy just did and you're pretty sure you don't want to know, it'll give you a hell of an advantage with your little stunt though. [Telekinetics roll 5] [Dex roll 2+2 kinetics boost] You let fly with the grenade, the tip of fingers clip the oblong shape as you throw. They would have surely knocked it off into the gaping hole beside you if you hadn't already prepared to tweak the odds a little. The adjusted flight of the grenade goes a little left of perfect, and the cryo-field takes over from there. [Stamina rolls 4, 6, 4, 5, 2 4] You are glad Taric took steps to disable them for a bit, because the grenade is somewhat less than expected. A few of them seem to suffer from the cold, but only the one closest to the grenade suffers real harm.
2 Indepedents are now barely hurt.
1 is moderately wounded and physically numb (-1 to rolls until heat returns.) (but still being fed sensation by Taric... interesting.)

Most of the independent group is crippled by Taric's mental assault, but the women are still able to keep firing, mostly. [Dex roll 2-1] The one with chimera though fumbles her fresh clip when reloading, not being able to tell where her fingers actually are makes it a very difficult task. [Quickshot roll, 4-1] The other manages to aim despite the difficulties her mind is having, striking out at Dom. [Dom armor roll 1 (bonus negated)] One of the gauss slugs finds a join in her armor, where protection had to be foregone in order for the user to move. (Dom -16 health.)
