Burgundy and the Hansa are very much alive. The Hansa doesn't have nearly as much cash as HOLLAND does, now. This has to be the first time I've seen the AI play a trading nation effectively. They have like 1600 income and four provinces.

I'm mainly playing the waiting game for my turn to be up. I seriously hope to god the AI doesn't do something stupid in the time it takes for these provinces to core.

EDIT: Just checking out the Americas. The Hansa has started to colonise. Pretty sporadically, there's no major "blocks" of colonisation.

I actually fought against them three times when they tried to conquer Friesland, each time just blockading their three ports. You get insane warscore for blockading rich provinces, so I could just force them to agree to a white peace. And they had a 23k army!

Well, they eventually TOOK Friesland. :p I wonder if they're going to take on Burgundy to get Utrecht back off them.

Honestly very little point in an AAR. I fought a few wars I easily won (Ottomans were hilariously easy simply due to Spain's influence in the region), built up a powerbase and slowly tried to make Greece and the Balkans into a reformed part of the map. :p

Wow, not even the 16th century and so much happening. Lol at Spain eating up all of Portugal. Looks like there's so much chaos in China, India, and Arabia (or hey, just about all the continents outside of the Iberian peninsula and British isles).

Well, I thought the world was developing pretty intrestingly and I didn't want this to die so I hope no one minds if I took a turn.
I grabbed Napels with the plan to unite Italy.

Sicily looks easy to take and I have a reconquest against them, hmmm England is there to but I doubt they'll care about this little section way over here shouldn't be to hard to get it in a peace deal.

10 years later, I'm still involved in war with England, I randomly grabed Rome durning the war to move on with at least some of my Unite Italy goal;  I think the English Navy was in the Americas and I had taken every English Island gain any sort of peace.  I had racked up 50% warscore and they still didn't even want white peace from me.  So I conquered Ireland I was worried when a 20k English stack landed but my 6 shock King won the landing and we were able to overrun them and wipe them out; still no acceptable peace after Ireland; conquering the English mainland was very touch and go for a while with an English 25k stack following my 15k stack around; luckly my 6 shock king did decenly in battles.  My ally Navarra, yes one province Navarra, showed up and laid seige to about 3 proviences at a time with little 2-3k stacks and we slowly  took England.  We had about 70% of it occupied before they discussed peace.  During this time OPM Cornwall seized every colony in America I had, bankrupting itself and allowing a white peace with it (Though I lost a lot of colonies)

Saddly right before this happened 54 big ships showed up and obliterated my Naval Stack, with no transport home I took 4 provinces on the English Mainland for my Army to sit around in and base future attacks against England from, Western Sicily (I annexed Sciliy Proper very early in the war and then I released the Aztecs and Tyrone to use up the extra war score.) Leinster comes out of an English revolt and for some reason Tyrone doesn't stop them from takening their land, with no current navy I couldn't help them.  After securing four provinces they give two back to the British and take 2 of my vassal Tyrone's provinces for itself... 

I was planning on sitting around burning crazy bad boy crushing various rebellions from my 20.0 / 19.76 War Exhaustion (Note to self: Never Raise War Taxes unless you KNOW the war is going to be short...) I actually end up losing a province over in the the Greekmainland due to defection, with no Navy it just took too long to walk there after I got all the military access I needed.

I said planning because England became the Papel Controler and immediatally excommunicated me; and I guess with my W.E. being over the limit several nations thought I was a tempting target, inculding Milan and several Italian Minors; I create some vassals out of the small ones - this was a mistake, I was already hanging around the bad boy limit and should have used the little I had for more Italian land, not stupid vassals.  I crush Milian and take a chunk of cash.

English lose their Papel Controler statis and almost immediately I have my excommunicated lifted by the next guy.  Then the Netherlands are excommunicated giving me a chance at some of their holdings nearby.

War against the Netherlands goes pretty well and uneventful, 16k Ducth Stacks against my 20k Mainland Italy Stack with my 6 shock king go very well for me (Still rebuilding Navy, it takes 720 days to make a Flyte due to W.E. though it's getting better since I'm not rasing War Taxes anymore. So my English Stack won't be seeing action this war.) I conquer nearby holdings and then march all the way North to break a good peace deal; Amazingly my Vassals all come too some how securing military access through Milian and Burgandy.  While seiging the capital my Amazing king finally dies and kicks the bucket and his worthless 43 year old son takes over 4/3/4 or something like that.

I make peace and take four provinces for four B.B.; saddly, due to the legimacy drop from my new king and his horrible stats I'm put over the limit; very close, but over the limit, and I'll be there a while with -.35 a year.  It takes a while but in 1607 the Swiss declare war against us for being Dishonorable Scum and Barvaria joins in.  OPM Siena starts there own war, and my vassal Tyrone marches over to win that war for me, they get let off with 9 gold since I have no B.B. to work them in, and they are a republic so no claims could be made.  A French Minor makes the same mistake and is crushed for 1,000 gold. The actual war is going terrible, but my navy, considing of 21 Flytes finally transports my English stack back and we win the war for a white peace.  (It's getting close to the deadline and I need to shore everything up not waste time taking the Alps for gold or anything else.)  Everything goes pretty smoothly until OCT 1609 when the Ottomans go to war, and apparently the computer had warned them before I took over.  Due to my current royal marragies and victorious wars bringing greatness to the nation we stand to inherit several countries, including Barraria, so I agree to go to war and attempt to bring White Peace before 1610, and fail.

Weird, I had no trouble against Poland or other semi-majors. Do you still have that giant army of vassals? Or that giant way-over-forcelimits navy?

I think Farseer was banned, though, so this game is pretty much dead.

I decided to play the poor Bishopric of Cologne in my game, a German OPM. And trust me, although I expanded my borders before fighting it, fighting against Hansa and a 30k army, Flanders with a 20k army, the pope with... er, nothing, and a bunch of minors to what, around 60~70k in total? Not fun at all, nuh-uh. Bloody cascading alliance that never seem to work for my favour for a change, >.>

Yeah, the Hansa is crazy powerful in that game.  I think it's all the money they have and I'm pretty sure they are over their land force limits.

Oh yeah, and the Hansa was played by a player for a while, so pretty sure that set them up for success.
