What really was endless fun was how you singlehandedly lost the first Sorcerer's Apprentice.

It sure was, wasn't it? Not only that, I ruined your perfect no-lynch record! TONS of fun. 8-P

RRRRGGGGHHHH

Yes, it was all great fun.

Kinda like mastermind?

But what if the leader is scum?
That's why he got so much shit for it.

The system naturally lends itself to abuse, so I don't know why I was getting so much shit for it. The first game I can understand, up to a certain point. The second game it didn't make any sense, except when Mr.Person flipped scum.

However, I will admit I would be naturally distrustful of any attempt to organize the assists, but coooome ooon.

Well, it went through the second time, so obviously you didn't get that much shit for it.

If there are enough players, I'm probably going to start around Monday to avoid running days over the weekend.

I know this won't last through the second extension, but so it goes. :)

I pretty much expect D1 to get extended at least once in any game.  I considered giving D1 24 extra hours in my games by default, but I just went with 72 hour days.

Hell with it- in.

If people need more time to talk, they can vote to Extend the day for 24 hours, up to twice per day.

- Extension requests will extend the day by 24 hours, require a simple majority, maximum of 2/day

Yeah, it always seems to happen, which is interesting because there's so little to go off on Day 1.  I figure there's two extensions if people want them, that should be enough.

I don't like to curse so could I call Jim's plan TFGDP it's acronym instead?

Just finished Sorcerers' Mafia #1 and thought Zath was guilty until the end -- because of his tunneling.  Though I would have gone for the lurkers also.

Earlier today, I decided that I wouldn't join in another mafia game for a while, as they just take too much effort.

Fortunately, my apathetic resolve has wavered in the face of a slightly weak urge to argue over who's scum. Maybe I'll try taking more then just mental notes this time.

Well, I was killed in Kingmaker far earlier than expected. So I'll in if there's room for me.

Why do we need to have a pm based plan?  Why not just assign everybody; for example the first 3 people on the sign up list vote for the first school:  the second 3 vote for the second school etc?

The game hasn't started yet.

You can argue with whatever plan I may or may not feel like implementing once it begins.

Closing for setup.  If any last minute players want in, let me (via PM) know before I open the thread to start it (in about an hour, whenever I finish the PMs).

EDIT: Going to take longer than I thought, I'll have it up some time this evening.  The days will start/end at 11:59 PM EST this time around, so you'll have a bit of time anyways.

KaminaSquirtle, who would you most want on your scumteam?

Taco Dan, who would you most and least want as sorcerers?

vadia, how do you catch scum?

I would also like to take this time to officially curse my lack of limerick skill.

There was once a man named Nirur
Who hated to commit an error
He then told to me
What he wanted to see
In a scummate kind of feller

(Slant rhyme, but it's late.  Sue me.  I'm not sure how to say your name anyway.)
