or send an army against you

At this size . . .

. . . tanks would put bullet holes in you.  That would be bad.

A better start may be to just levitate in place a bunch.  Get recognized as being supernatural.  Eventually, and especially with other manipulations, this should lead to planescions putting two and two together in a more helpful way.  No, I'm not forbidding the eventual action of slaughter.  Just rounding out the approach a bit.

Edited P.S.: I so totally was not expecting what looked like a modern city.  At first, with the intial view from the mountain, I thought it looked medieval.  If we've got a bunch of materialistic modern skeptic creepy crawlies, this could go poorly.

Be careful not to do many miracles for them, once you get one miracle rolling then they'll ask for a hundred more.

The space voyaging was on page four.  This is unacceptable.

Things need to become still more depressing and cynical.  Plots need to completely fail and result in threats to life and limb (where applicable).  Tears need to be rubbed from eyes due to nothing more than a slip during sketching.  Let's go, people.

or successful attempts of joy causes Tears of happiness to pour out,
or sand getting in the eye, bad gas, humid air causing tear sacks to swell,
seeing Darkerdark update his comic.
good ways to bring tears.
or just cry over the house you broke and see if that fix it.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed the lack of author activity here... Wouldn't it be such a bother for the updates to stop now? With the mutant rebellion/uprising/rally just beginning, the ex-tyrant in the middle of a fight with a guard, TQ04 and his mutant buddy about to be arrested by droids, and the limbless one midway in his descent to godhood? Or whatever the limbless mutant was doing. Never really got that plot, to be honest... But still! Don't leave us hanging! In the middle of all this!

Am I doing it right?

Yes.  However, technically, none of the haiku in this whole thread are strictly "right," since proper haiku (made in the "real world") have guidelines on content as well as length--guidelines which people typically ignore when doing silly stunts like this.  And I don't know all the guidelines, so don't ask me.

But yes, you got the length right.

You've taken a life.
A crawlie investigates
The tears do nothing

Try to make it up.
You will win the crawlie's trust.
Diplomacy tart

The bug is buried
More bugs appear to greet you.
You must gain their trust.

The voices call you.
You must grant all their wishes
But make them stubble.

You grant them stubble
The three of them seem confused
What the hell's stubble?

Worry not my friends
The author will return soon

Took a weekend off.
Robocorn scared everyone.
Cicadas bug me.

Bah, nobody uses a kigo anyway, I's have to be obsessive compulsive to write a story like that.

Sorry about the drought, I was away from my tablet for a while and couldn't get to a scanner. I'm far from running out of ideas (unless making fun of spelling errors counts as running out of ideas). Maybe I should have warned you about the weekend away. Anywho, I'm going to try to regain my momentum so I continue to post regularly for another 1000 images maybe.
