You're at a dead end.
You don't know what you can do.
None of this makes sense.

Tepid fires approach.
You're licked by magenta flames.
They itch more than sting.

This is even worse.
You can't do anything right.
Make it wash away.

A monsoon of tears.
Don't go chasing waterfalls
One of them caught you.

Oh no! a flash flood!
The beard trio wash away.
The Humanity!

In your tear puddle.
You can feel something crawling.
What could something be?

Grandma has returned
She's more mighty than ever.
You guess her cane grew.

You hear screams of fear.
Giga-Nana sows chaos.
What have you unleashed?

You are now Alpha Rauthaz

You're Alpha Rauthaz, you're beginning to suspect that you're
not really cut out for hand to hand combat.
It seems like this fight has been going on forever.

Uh . . . dang, this is not an easy situation.  Do whatever would advance the plot in the most tragic and comedic way as possible.

And isn't it about time we switched to another character?  Maybe in a few turns?

I never thought I'd hear such a generic request from you. For shame bro, for shame. :P

But really I find progress the plot posts pretty funny, If I new where the plot was going why would I ask for suggestions?
There's pretty much no railroad here, just a distant set of goals outlined by the setting even then, those are subject to change. The only thing set in stone is this is space voyage and at some point we will be voyaging through space, goddamnit. So I drew Giga-Nana

Check that bar that determines how many times you can cast mind bullets.

No hand-to hand? Try kicking, hand-to-face, or better yet, your special secret facepalm-attack.

Surrender, and wait till the guard is less defense able and strike! (if no prisoners be taken then find a mele weapon and take the high ground)

Go for the eyes, they're very large and soft, breaking one would be the easiest way to kill.

hmm, does the TV tropes article mention the thing about there not having been an actual voyage through space yet yet? Is there even a trope for that?

I never thought I'd hear such a generic request from you. For shame bro, for shame.

Look.  I said tragicomic.  I could have said just tragic, or I could have said just comic.  I gave you twice the specificity.

the thing about there not having been an actual voyage through space yet

No, the Acier Rouge should be in space now.  I put this together previously:

the ship will leave in 74 seconds
You've watched the first minute of the first video file
Yes, the ship is in space now, unless departure was somehow prevented.  It probably happened during or after the elevator's operation.

Now, some thoughts.  Melee isn't working.  We have enough Psy to kill the Sectoid with one last mind bullet:

Approximately two points is all that's needed.  But importantly, does this Sectoid have any backup?  The bullet might need to be saved for later use.  Do a quick look out the door for Sectoid backup, and/or seal it at a control panel, or something.  Then once you know you're in the clear, use that mind bullet.

Um, using hithertofore unlisted psychic power, telepathically download combat expertise from opponent's brain.

Alpha Rauthaz owned this civilization once! She will not let some random guard show her up like this!

(Hopefully we have enough power points to do this. It'd be a hilarious shame to download only part of his expertise. If we have spare power points, however, we could erase his copy of the expertise, so we're the only ones good at fighting!)

This clearly isn't working you can barely find an opening in this tubespawn's
technique. This is completely unacceptable. If he keeps punching you
in the face it might damage your stunning and unique visage.

If you only knew martial arts you wouldn't have had to rely on your psychic powers so much.
It was all your forebear's fault for not teaching it to you, all useless things like diplomacy
and understanding of the minds of your peons.

That's it, you'll try to steal the martial arts knowledge from the mind of this guard
using your remaining psi points. You'll just need to wait for an opening.

Got 'em.
You expend your remaining four power points and extract his combat experience from his pitiful memories.
As well as his favorite flavour of yogurt, his high score in Mega-cross, the ability to tie knots, motor control of his left toe, and three hours worth of memory from that time several weeks ago when an emergency was listed due to the heat sinks but it was actually a problem with the detector.

Perhaps you should have practiced telepathy more than telekinesis.

You think the tables have turned.

My normal computer that has photoshop and my tablet seems to have a somewhat debilitating virus at the moment so I am forced to make due with a six year old laptop's trackpad and mspaint.
Hence the pixel art.
Hope it doesn't bother anyone, I hope I'll get it all sorted out by tomorrow.

Taunt him about how low his high score is. Really, any tube-spawned mutant filth could do better than that!

Huh. I thought the change was intentional, and that you were going to do some sort of Mortal Kombatsque fighting sequence.

Can you?
