Meh. Could be worse. At least I got those giant honkin' sausage logs that Argembarger sent me.

So far I've only been allowed to open one gift. It was a box of granola bars. I'm assuming I'll have to wait until my mom comes home from work(she works at a deli run by some Middle Eastern people who hate America Christmas) to open anything else, but judging from their shape, most of it is clothes.

I did get a nice set of tools from a family Christmas party a few weeks ago, though.

I got a used flute, which may not seem like much but I have been wanting one FOREVER. And I also got snow on Christmas! Never had that before in my entire life.

For my Christmas present I finally overcame what turned out to be a simple problem that was a roadblock to my learning of the Windows API.

Oh, and I get to add another year to my age today. It's a mixed blessing.

Thus far I've gotten a car cleaning kit from my grandparents (looks like my brother gets one to, but seriously a car cleaning kit for a college student? I can't be that hard to shop for. I don't even wash my jeep.) aaaand instead of the usual presents from my parents that has been swapped out for a cruise in about a week or so. Or more specifically swapped out for getting there and money for the various stuff we're doing as my mom's biological mother is actually paying the cruise tickets. More will come over the next few days I'm sure as stuff from relatives trickle in.

Funny, this was the first year I had a green christmas.
