I've made tortillas before, then turned them into tortilla chips!  Man the stuff is so much better fresh, but yeah, it's so simple, all you NEED is: Masa/Flour and water.  Obviously it won't turn out that well without salt and oil though.

They are somewhat difficult to make though if you have a six year old who insists on dumping an extra cup full of water in while you aren't watching.
