A scorpion? Seriously?
Pets nowadays..  ::)

Yup, I know it sounds strange but I find them cuter than kittens. Yes, I think they're cute.

 I just remembered a friend who has a cat named "dog" and a dog named "cat". I don't know what the opposite for scorpion would be.

Edit:Also this thread lives longer than I expected.

Wouldn't really call scorpions cute, but it seems like most small vertebrates are (especially rats), and I can see some bugs being cute, so it doesn't sound that odd.

Don't name a scorpion after a carp. It can only lead to trouble.

I notice the name Cuddles has come up a lot. However, I have to chip in that Cuddles is only a name suited to any within the Superorder of Octopodiformes or the Superorder of Decapodiformes.

Personally, I'd just start off with the name Urist, then add another one via RNG every time he attacks someone.  :P

Frog.

My father has a cat with no name.  He just calls him by lots of cat-related diminutives, his favorite being "pussnatch", descended from the Ebonic "biznatch".
