I have 3 days to write a short story. For my English class.

I kind of want my Excellence grade but looks like I'm going to fail my best class. Perfect.

On what subject, and how long a short story?

Here's a tip: if you run out of inspiration before words, have a mysterious cadre of ninjas suddenly jump out and attack a character. If you're not given a subject, you can even start a story with a fight scene like that.

That's pretty good so far. Not sure where you'd want to take it. Personally I'd go for something dialogue-heavy where Jo proselytises some kind of weird pseudo-nihilistic "nothing you do ultimately matters, so go make the most of it" ideology which I tend to associate with infinite parallel universes.
Three days is a bit tight but I'm sure you can pull something at least achieved/merit worthy in that time.
