You may solve the puzzle to find out the secret. Until then, my abjuration spells can protect me from your silly nukes.

* Tawarochir allows you to return to your regularly scheduled shuddering in fear

But that's adorable!

Anyway, Re:Grease fires, Fortunately, when I started one years ago, I didn't follow my first instinct to throw water on it.
I'd been trying to cook a slice of frozen pizza, but hadn't removed the grease tray from our horrifying dinner the night before. I came back to see back smoke pouring out of the oven. I figured I must have just been my absent-minded self and left the pizza on for too long, opened up the oven, and had a large belch of flame shoot out.

Rather than try and douse it myself with water (probably since it seemed like too much fire to take out with a cupful of water), I walked out to the other side of the house where my mother was using the computer and said, very calmly, "Mum, the oven's on fire."

I said it so nonchalantly that she didn't really believe me at first, but she came inside and saw all the smoke and flames.
I can't remember exactly how she extinguished the fire, now, but she told me afterwards that it was very lucky I hadn't thrown water on it. For a while after that me couldn't use the oven, since the electrics had been burnt out. >.>
At least I didn't get in trouble, as far as I can remember, heh.

Two Thanksgivings ago a couple guys dumped all the turkey grease into the oven on accident. It flared up and the fastest person to react dumped water on it like a dumbass, but we got lucky and it worked. Yay luck!

* Yoink briefly considers replying to that, remembers what happened last time he did so, then simply rolls his eyes and wanders off to check the RTB boards instead.

PREPARE TO GO INNAMNTAINS

Wait, what? Are you saying we left a huge stockpile of chemical weaponry just sitting around for years after we invaded over WMDs?

By being trans, although the situation's kinda fucked up one way or the other in that case, since there's a lot of information about your body that's presumably elaborated on in greater detail in the class assigned to your biological sex. Since that's a big part of the point of the class, I'm not really sure what to do other than just have both sexes get all of the material. Only downside there is people throwing fits about what's proper and stuff, really, since it's helpful for empathy purposes to know about the bodies of people of the opposite sex. Knowing what bodily functions they have to put up with in more than the vaguest possible terms can't hurt, I figure.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I thought sex ed was generally done with both sexes at the same time? I don't think I had any sex ed class though.
