Well, I picked up a Marder II. So far, I'm having more fun and success with it than I've had with any other tank so far. My T-34 still makes a lot more money and tends to edge it out experience wise, and it's still somewhat fun, but the Marder tends to be my choice to play with until it gets knocked out of battle.

so i played this around mid 2010, and stopped since i was stuck in a pz 4 and it woulda taken me forever to grind up to a tiger.

and i came back redownloaded it all and my account was still good (i heard there was a reset)  and there was...

except the reset took away all your old tanks but gave you gold and money and experience in place of them! i said screw germany ill try USSR, and used the experience points to run right up to heavy tanks, right straight into a KV-3 which i dont have enough exp. points to upgrade the gun on.

Im now cruising around in a KV3 making 20k every game.... and very little experience (200-900)
what should i go to next? should i skip the IS and go straight for the IS-3? it seems much better than this damn kv-3... please help me ^_^

Also, everyone and their mother is in a heavy or super heavy tank nowadays, jesus christ medium tanks get raped all game it seems.

i can almost afford a IS-3 now but im like so low on experience points its sad. only have 6,000 right now.

playing for a while now and all i can say is wow they changed how you get credits and exp alot.

i shoulda grinded my ass off in mid year because now it sorta makes it take even longer to grind it seems.

My KV-3 gets solidly raped by the IS-3 so im gonna definately go that route, but im just wondering if i should buy the regular IS or just spend enough exp and skip through it and get strait to the meat and potato's of IS-3 rape.

It's gonna take you a while to do that since getting free xp without gold is quite a chore (the conversion is i think 5 free xp for every 100 regular), and if you allready haven't get yourself a month premium asap, it's gonna last you till the wipe and let you get a lot more cash and xp.

i still have 5500 gold somehow. i could afford a IS-3 if i had the exp to research up to it like right now (made 500,000 credits already tonight)

spent 2500 on the 30 day premium, if i didnt have that id be really calling this an insane grind.(not for credits but the crazy exp!, damn it exp seems so hard to get or something now, ive only had 3 rounds where i made 1200-1600 exp all day)

from the way i read your post it sounds like i can trade gold for exp.

i know i can exchange gold for credits but i think i just read you wrong.

You can convert exp bound to "elite" tanks to free exp using gold, at a rate of 1 gold for 25 exp.

Well you need 80k to just unlock the IS-3 and thats a lot of gold and free xp you need, i still recommend getting the IS, it's a nice tank and should get you used a bit to the mobility the IS-3 has

well im up for some of that fun platoon stuff in about 12 hours when i get home from work.

I had an awesome round yesterday, in which I made like 7 kills, dealt damage to 5 tanks and spotted two. Because of coordination.

The funny thing was... we actually miscommunicated which then, in turn, made everything awesome:

Friend of mine was on the other side of a lake, instead next to me, like we actually had planned. I was being shot up by arty, crawling through a swamp, things looked really bad. But I killed the scout that spotted me in the last second, so I had some room to breathe. And then my friend got spotted. On the other side. I told him to zig zag ahead at flank speed, so the enemy arty would try to zero in on him, which worked, promptly. I then used that window of opportunity to dash ahead and kill everything. Funny enough, they all had their noses turned to him
