A simple destroy the convoy contract. Rated 2 skulls out of 5. Nothing too hard. I'm running 1 heavy and 3 mediums.
Convoy as a straight shot to their goal, so looks like I'll have to rush the vehicles, that means I'm gunna take more damage from their escorts than I expected. Vehicles down main objective complete, my blackjack is missing an arm but otherwise all is good. Considering whether I should head to evac or defeat the escorts, a lance of 4 mediums. Including a kintaro which is a mech I want. I decide to stay and regret it immediately.
New contacts, a big mech type I never saw before that looks beefy as hell (turns out it was actually an assault). And my gunslinger takes a pounding, 3 injuries in one turn, a knockdown both arms lost and all armor got stripped off. I eject the pilot, shit is going pear shaped. I look for the evac point, and wouldn't ya know it it's behind that assault. I rush the assault hoping to get to the evac point, and it only laughs at my puny weapons. The assault tears my blackjack a new one, allowing one of the original escorts to finish it off, taking my MC out of the fight. A firestarter that joined the fight with the assault lights up my griffin forcing a heat shutdown, and my Centurion loses a leg, falls over, and isn't getting to the evac anytime soon. I swallow my pride and do a withdraw, failing the mission. Whatever that was, that was not a 2 skull difficulty mission, that was more like 4 or 5 skulls.
