Go slammed in the asteroid fields from hell. Normally rank 2 shields can hold off the rocks forever, but this time they just battered my poor ship into scrap. What actually killed me, though, was the fire breaking out in the Door room and proceeding to spread up to the engines. My poor crew died trying valiantly to fix the door room so we could vent the fires. The final point of hull damage was the engine exploding (I think.)

I was climbing the ladder out of my mine when a spider pounced from the entrance and hit me, causing me to fall to my death.

Got smashed into the ground while my opponent and I were plunging from a 100-foot-tall tower. It was very anime :o

Play EB it makes that game SOO much more fun. Oh but never auto resolve. even small unimportant battles.

Was moving my soldiers to position to assault a castle when the paradrop failed when a soldier was shot in the head. The glorious pilot managed to take out at least 7 germans with a pistol before a grenade threw him up into the air and mp40s took him apart. We tried to break through the gate and almost managed to get it before a lucky shot hit my head

I had 2 MKII Burst Lasers against an Auto Assault with 2 levels of shields.

Out of 6 shots, only 2 hit the first time. Then I fired again, and only about 3 out of 6 hit. Meaning out of 12 shots, only one got through the shield. One.

I didn't survive that amount of failure because the Auto Assault had 2 beam drones, one ion weapon, and one small laser weapon. Goddammit RNG.
