Poland CAN into space. This was painstakingly done in Magna Mundi. Remained Catholic, obtained control of the Curia, forced the Church to reform to bring moderate Protestants back in into the fold. However, religious nationalism due to the spread of the reformation and ethnic religious differences within the massive Polish empire cause frequent rebellion against the state.

The ethnic polish people are confined exclusively to a relatively small region around Warsaw. The rest are Eastern slavic, like Russians, Ukrainians, Tartar, And Hungarian. Only a doctrine of humanist tolerance and a bill of rights keeps the 'minorities' mostly happy. The vast majority of rebellion is religiously motivated, brought upon by reformed preachers spreading religious nationalism, primarily in the Hungarian provinces.

Magna Mundi Mod. I suggest you reverse your opinion, and try it out again.

Like I said, I tried it and didn't like it. Trying it again won't change that.

You never know... Sometimes it does change it.

...But I get where you're coming from. I don't really like Magna Mundi much either; from what I've tried(georgia, granada) it's slow paced and difficult. A little too difficult for me*. Though I'm going to give Georgia another try in Magna Mundi.

Anyway, I vote Georgia as the country to play as. I've personally never had much luck with them. I'd like to see someone else do things right where I've done things wrong.

*Before you say "You could always pick a bigger country"; I don't like big countries. I prefer to start as small, insignificant countries and build up from there.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Okay, that's 5 countries nominated. I'll add a poll, wait a while and we'll see what gets the most votes. Georgia is the only one I haven't played some kind of game as, so if that's the winner, it'll be about as blind as I can get in this game.

If you play Georgia, I'd recommend you start Georgia in a time where it isn't at war with the timurids, as that war is only going to go south unless you're unbelievably good or lucky.

I have DW, I'll start at war with the Timurids and the Golden Horde, as well as the small horde nation to the east. It's likely to go south so fast it'll bounce off the south pole and end up in Russia.

...How the heck is Georgia supposed to survive(realistically) until current day with those kinds of odds?!

By being surrounded primarily by large but barely holding together empires that only manage to rule over it by giving a high degree of autonomous self governance? Just like in real life.

Pretty much. I'll be hoping the nations more capable of dealing with the larger hordes do so while I colonise as much as I can for more land.

What I usually try and do is Peace out with the Timurids as soon as possible, and work on the Blue guys to the east, and the Golden Horde. The horde because they have Poland-Lithuania-Moldavia, and the Russian Principalities to worry about, and the blue guys because they're small <3

In Divine Wind, Hordes are always at war with their neighbors by default, unless they are collecting tribute from them. They cannot annex settled states. The way to survive as Georgia is to keep that fact in mind and either offer tribute to one of the hordes for peace and protection, and go to war with them when opportunity arises, or just keep in mind that the Caucus Mountain region offers you truly massive benefits when it comes to defense. Massive attrition, severe terrain penalties to attackers. If you know how to make use of the combat mechanics to your full advantage, even little Georgia should be able to fend off the attacks of the Hordes.

Well, I don't think we'll have to continue to talk about Georgia considering Korea got 4/8 votes already. So I guess it's Korea that you're going to play, McCrea.

Sadface.

Doesn't really matter, since Korea's definitely going to win. Just... Roll a die or something.

10 votes, Korea got 5 of them. I'll start sometime today. With any luck, I might even get something productive done. Anywho, this LP's likely to be more friendly for those who have no idea of what the game's about, since I might actually explain what the hell's going on from time to time.
