Urdim Breedtheater, Peasant.

His only skill: Adequate Flatterer. By Armok, I think I've got a porn actor in my fort.

A camp called Whippedcreams I encountered while introducing a friend to Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode. We laughed way to much. It was the first quest assigned too!

Not a humorous name, but something quite pleasing all the same. These are the important figures for a nearby elven civ:

It's the druid, no less. And I'm nearly at war with these guys (maybe I should give Ova Mifavalíceyi [RESPONSIBILITY:MILITARY_STRATEGY])...

I got a kick out of a dwarf named Kogan Nishkogan (trans: Boat Tradeboats), but my funniest name was an artifact bed called Deviancerhyme the Steppe of Screams. It had a picture of the queen on it...

Did the queen have a preference for whips or chains? Or enormous corkscrews? Menacing spikes?

Unfortunately, she had no preferences at all. Stupid bland monarchs.

Imagine you're driving a car. Push the gas pedal to the floor. Close your eyes. Remain this way for ten minutes while turning the wheel at whim. This is Dwarf Fortress.
I don't mean to alarm you, but it appears that your Dwarves are all in fact elephants.

Recently I downloaded the large address aware .exe Dwarf Fortress file. You know. So I could gen a world for quite awhile. I decided to gen it until my download of Soundsense was done. I got up to 252 years worth of history. With around 30,000 alive.

However, I never checked the world name. But I soon found what monstrosity it was when I selected it in "Play Now!"

a WTF ensued.
I've yet to play it at the moment. But a quick look at legends suggests that the naming process was fine. But the almighty ultra-namegod decided twist his tongue a bit.
