Background: Some months ago, someone was brought into the store as a manager trainee, for a period that should be hopefully over in the next month or two. This man is a complete ass, acts extremely inappropriately in everything he does. How anyone thought this guy was good for a management position I cannot comprehend; I wouldn't have given him an entry-level job. Unfortunately, he's somehow popular with most every one of the lazy idiots I have to work with. As I said, he's should be gone hopefully soon, but if I find out he's staying permanently I will quit. I cannot stand this guy that much.


Anyways. Apparently, someone told him my birthday, which apparently also falls on the same day as his. He will not shut up about that fact, constantly referring to me as his "birthday buddy", and generally being an ass about it.

See if you can score a free cake out of your "birthday buddy".

It was probably written by a bot. Its possible they had a human do a once over, but some of the "news" articles out there don't even get that.

My E and D keys were failing so I gave my laptop one quick hit of percussive maintenance.  It shut down.
It booted back up and:

The mouse didn't work (G HUB for my long-unconnected USB mouse was automatically installing an update, OBVIOUSLY disabling my actual mouse)

Flash asked me to uninstall it, as always, except this time it also asked Windows permission to change my computer.  FUCK NO, ASSHOLES

This one guy on Discord said hi because I guess me flashing to "offline" back to "away" means "I totally want to deal with you right now" despite me consistently asking him to back off lately as I've been sick

Conservatives hate it because it hates on their idols and is full of "Wokey nonsense", liberals hate it because they act like a conservative talk show host's idea of a liberal is and it criticises things like the Me Too movement. Racists don't like it because it swapped out white characters for non-white. People of those ethnicities don't like it because they (And nobody) acts like the characters do.

Who was the target audience? Did they pitch it to the most internally inconsistent individual, have them say "Seems great!" and assume that meant it was fine?

Seriously, my kids just want to play games. But no, when I buy them something on my main parent account, it's locked to my account, not sharable across a family.  What is this shit?  I'm not buying a game twice just so both my kids can play it.

And if I tell my kids I'm no longer going to support these companies, I'm going to get no end of grief - hence the considering suing for anguish.

I watched Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. There were two spider-men, only one of which was black, and a spider-woman. And the whole point of that movie was that there were paralel universes, in each of which was a different spider-person.

However, this reminds me of the Merlin tv-show, in which Guinevere is not only a smith's daughter rather than a princess, but also black. She should be a celtic noble lady. Celtic!
