Been raining all day today, and it will persist throughout the weekend.

Finally got XPiratez to work properly, and was looking through the Bootypedia when I got to the "Crypt of Remembrance" page.

Among the list of those "Whose skulls have been taken by the Black Dragon" was our very own Gunner-Chan.

I have to have surgery soon.

I realize it's not the worst kind of procedure, but the recovery for the first few days is crappy. I'm not looking forward to it at all. I am very grateful that I a.) have good insurance right now, b.) my work is seemingly accommodating, and c.) I have a specialist performing this who has done this stuff tons of times.

While I have gone through a lot in the last couple years, if we're being fair, there are people out there who have it worse than me right this second. To be fair, abdominal surgery sucks, but at least it's not like brain surgery or something (I'm trying to be less petty?). I feel like I do have some legitimate gripe here. Having to have, and pay for surgery of any kind sucks (again, grateful for insurance). Weirdly, my right lower back is also twitching somehow, thankfully not painfully at the moment. I am so incredibly glad it is not worse; however, I can't help finding it quite unfair that this and other things happened at all.

If there is one thing that has sort of started to bug me about a few movies is that they go SOOO far with the "Just be yourself" plotline that they kind of forget "Ohh right, you still have to be a productive non-destructive member of society"

ONE OF THESE DAYS the main character of a movie is this immortal bomb who keeps exploding... And no one invites him to parties because he would blow them up.

Then at the end of the movie EVERYONE invites the Bomb to parties and he explodes but the explosion only makes everyone float for a bit.

I should just make a contest here to see who can write the best "Bombey the Misfit" script/story.
