I kno, right? Its just she's been specially flirty with me, to the point some of my gym mates are making jokes about it. Like, we crossed eachother on the street a day ago and she said something along the lines of "I'm watching you", with a certain tone of voice.

I mean, either she's like that with everyone and I'm just not noticing, or she was being real flirty, so it got kinda awkward? I can solve this, I'm just kinda surprised this is even happening, I mean, I don't consider myself the most charming person ever, specially since I go the gym at around 17 o' clock, when my hair is essentialy a rampaging cthulhoid and I'm kinda already looking tired/like a hobo.

Dude sitting in front of me on the train reached up to scratch his ear, revealing a swastika and an othala rune tattooed on his knuckles along with other symbols, and a black signet-style ring adorned with what appeared to be the SS symbol.

Also my train was a "limited express" and the stations it skipped included the one I needed to get off at. Apparently that's also a regular thing, which makes it less reasonable to me to complain about it being unclear which stations were involved.
Last time I assumed it was due to track works... at least this time I hopefully won't get horribly lost as a result.

I hate it when people equate communism with Marxism. Communism is an economic system where the profits of work are distributed relatively evenly, which works less the larger the entity, but works in smaller sizes, like Native American tribes (not that all Native American tribes had Communism, of course). Marxism is a form of communism, but it's not communism itself.
Note:Communsim should probably be spelled with a small c each time it appears above, but I'm using an iPad, and it's to much trouble to edit.

The hunter-gatherer and industrial lifestyles are so far apart I don't think they can be compared.  Communism doesn't make any sense in the context in which the Native Americans were living.

I would personally define Marxism as the academic school of thought created by Marx.  And communism as a form of totalitarian government in which the government imposes economic equality on the population*.  I'd say that if you have mandated economic equality but a non-totalitarian government, what you have is democratic socialism.  Although capitalist vs socialist has become a muddy distinction in modern times.

*the USSR actually did destroy or suppress most existing social distinctions, its just that they replaced them with a new hierarchy: government officials > ordinary people > public enemy of the week.  So I'd say they pretty much did what they said they would, it just didn't have the effect they claimed to want.

Communism refers to a society where all property is publicly owned. If this was the case in Native American life, then there's definitely a comparison.

Marxism seems to refer to the base political/economic policies of Karl Marx, which lead to communism as it is commonly thought of. In the simplest sense, communism as a concept does not need to be inspired by Marxism (nor does it necessitate a totalitarian government).

There is a lot more to communism than that.  And that's not even true, in a communist country there's still personal property.  You can't even define it as a nation in which all industries are nationalized, because by that definition the current Russian government is mostly communist.  (its not, its a capitalist oligarchy)

Whether or not it is the most accurate description of Native American life could certainly be a valid topic, but what c[C]ommunism actually IS has been established before.

First of all, only about 5% of Native Americans were hunter-gatherers. Most were farmers.

yeah that's my problem. I mean  Merriam-Webster definition 1.b, and people think I mean the worst form, totalitarianism. What we need is a separate word for the bad form, and preferably, one word for each definition.

1.b doesn't work with larger societies very well, but in smaller societies, for example Native American tribes that had 1.b, it does actually work.
The reason I brought this up is that people think that universal health care is the bad communism, even though most countries with it have a better economy then America.
