So, I was just looking at the website for a mental health organization, and apparently ketamine is being trialled as a treatment for depression.
Where do I sign up?!

Kind of suspected this for a while, but I've just been researching it a bit more for the first time. A lot of the symptoms I can very much relate to, although a lot of them involve social situations which I don't encounter very much, especially not when I'm feeling particularly weird. My family also seems to have quite a history of such things, as far as I'm aware. Weird.

Don't think too much into it unless your psychiatrist/therapist seriously agrees with you, but you can talk to them anyway if you're worried about it. A lot of symptoms of mental disorders are normal human behavior taken to an extreme, and the boundary between them isn't easy to understand unless you're a professional. And then some professionals are idiots.

I've got clinical depression, because when I'm off my meds it affects me more than it normally would another to the point I do often think about suicide or harming others, but not autism/aspergers, even though my family thought it might explain a lot of my personality regarding being asocial/failing to understand social situations. Turns out I'm just an awkward doofus.

Though with those sorts of games, it's usually a last-side-standing sort of thing. You don't have to survive the cockroaches, you just have to make sure they finish eating everyone else first. Kinda' like bears and running speed.

E: Actually, that's always a game type that's been fairly amusing and generally incredibly underrepresented so far as anything commercial goes. Ones where the purpose is not to win, but to lose last (or least, depending on how it's measured).

Survival type setups are usually where it's most represented... swarms of aliens, stuff like that. There's a handful that are sold, but most of it's probably found in custom maps for other games and flash junk. Doesn't seem to get much love out of anyone professional, anyway.

So, there's this game on steam called "Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars" and from what I saw in the description and the reviews, it seems to be a dungeon crawler where there's a mechanic where you get together with another with another character and "class-mate" to create something called a star child. It's uh... it's pretty weird.

Yeah, I saw that, Steam has it tagged as "dating sim", though I'm not sure how much of a datesim it is.

...Then again, I do need to expand my 3DS library. I'd probably better see if I can get a cartridge, though. Space on the SD card is precious.

It's a pretty basic dating sim, really. You can hang out with the other characters to make them like you more, answering questions and giving gifts, which in turn improves the power of the star children the two of you create. Probably best to focus on the dungeon crawling and battling aspects, which are at least passable.
