Apparently, Microsoft just completely axed their fitness band/not quite smartwatch, even taking down the SDK. I'm not really surprised, but it came as a bit of a shock because up until July, I was part of a team making an app for it to enter into a competition. One of my partners still wanted to continue on it, I wonder how he'll react.

Today was one hell of a day. Whether it was something as minor as a fuel gauge dropping faster than it should or something major (take your pick: multiple bizarre traffic accidents (including one involving fatalities), very nearly getting sideswiped by some oblivious jerk, several emergency vehicles half-blocking the street my main terminal is on and were threatening to fully block it), the day has been so filled with oddities and stress that I'm tempted to call it the Friday the 13th of Mondays.

And tomorrow is shaping up to be an even greater pain! Yaaaaaaay.
