I was already mostly sold on the game anyway, that sorta cinched it.
I love relaxing with a good tough platformer, particularly when they have two things:  Story, and overblown bosses.
So anything like Iji, Cave Story, or even Bleed.  Momodora's downloading now but it doesn't look like I'll be disappointed.

For now though, my wtf is puzzling out the interface in XCOM Interceptor.  The one no one talks about, even less than Enforcer because Enforcer was hilariously cheesy (I actually played the whole thing and found it entertaining, but it's absolutely B-movie low budget nonsense with no connection to the plot).

Also, my starting pilots are all women.  Only a 1/32 chance, I guess, just kinda surprising.  Too bad I have no idea how to play this, and I'm mediocre at dogfighting games, so they'll probably all die.
But hey.  That's XCOM, baby!

Interceptor is not that hard... and once you get the ball rolling your wing men (women in your case) will make the aliens cry like anime fans on prom night.

It is pretty easy. Once you get the tranquiliser rounds (whatever the rounds that don't kill the aliens are called) you won't use anything else.

I've been awake for over 24 hours.
Or was it 48 hours? 36? Whate ver, it's been quite a while. I've gone from super tired to not-caring-about-being-super tired to manic fit to normal to manic annnnd now back to super tired. Now I'm just going poopy and then it's time for sleep.
At least I wanted plenty of episodes of excellent shows during this most-enjoyable period of wakefulness. Also I survived the house inspection, so yay.
