One of my friends is trying to memorise Lucky's monologue from Waiting for Godot for an absurdist drama assignment. I'm not sure how he plans to memorise it on time.

So after the whole destroying shit in a museum ISIS has managed to top themselves again. This time they looted and the bulldozed the remains of Nimrud, a city some 3k years old, built by the Assyrians.

It's like they want to get bombed by everyone on earth.

So some of you may remember that ISIS had a propaganda poster boy in the Bulldozer of Fallujah, now the Iraqi militia have their own; Abu-Azrael, angel of death.

There’s quite a bit of mystery surrounding Azrael, but many rumors have circulated regarding his past, including his name, which may actually be Ayoub. Some claim that he previously worked as a university professor before joining the fight against ISIS.

Others say he was Iraq’s national Taekwondo champion at one point in time. However, as the legend grows, so does Azrael’s superhuman-like attributes, leaving those interested unable to separate fact from fiction.

As Shia forces have joined hand in hand with Iraqi forces, there are many reports of the allies ripping through the ranks of ISIS with ease. The pictures and videos of Azrael seem to show a man who loves killing just as much as those he opposes. That being said, maybe this is exactly what is needed in such an instance.

He is also rumoured to do horrible things to their bodies.

My friend a few months back showed me a picture of ISIS fighters loaded up into this gnarly custom battlewagon....then sent a pic of 40k Chaos Marines in a converted Rhino. They were uncannily similar looking.
