I'm not that familiar with fantasy warhammer, but isn't 40K in the same continuity as it? Cause if yes, then don't the humans win in the end (with chaos surviving, of course) no matter what?

They are...but not in the way you think. In neither settings have humans ever "won", against any race, and no one was "won" against Chaos. Chaos in both settings is more like a force of nature than an enemy state or nation. Imagine if hurricanes had devoted, fanatic followers who do crazy shit in the name of the Almighty Hurricane.

There's an argument to be made that the facts of 40k flow from the state of Warhammer Fantasy, but the links can't be proven (and are often undercut by the 40k lore which makes tangential references to real life stuff, like the geography of Earth, in the 40k narrative.)

I think the only race that someone has ever achieved victory of in any GWS game is the Squats....and that was more a marketing decision than the way the lore played out.

I don't know how to cook with a crock-pot.

My mom asked me to turn it on over the phone. She is not home, and not answering her phone now.

The crock-pot is leaking, and I don't know what to do.

Switch it off, unplug it, put a towel under it if it's not too hot to lift. If it is, put a towel around it.

It's leaking out of the bottom. Looks like it's out of juice now though.

I turned it off, and put a towel underneath in case more leaks out.

I should never be trusted to cook without supervision.

I was supposed to put the pot full of food into the crock pot. I poured the food out of the pot and into the crock pot.
