I don't get it...

The main character of Disney's Sleeping Beauty are the Three Fairies (Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather) why do so many people and advertisements overlook that the vast majority of the time?

I mean I KNOW the Fairies don't get any songs and the story revolves around Aurora... but dear goodness she is so unimportant to the story she could have been a incredibly well bred puppy and people loved.

I am about to watch Maleficent and I am dreading it because well... it misses the point SOMEWHAT of why people would go see a Maleficent movie, but I know what they were going for. So I am not sure if I'll be disappointed or satisfied.

You REALLY have to give and take with the animated movie. There are some genuinely great moments in it (Anytime Maleficent is on the screen for example)

Just like to enjoy Tangled you have to ignore the ENTIRE middle of the movie and to Enjoy the Jungle Book you have to ignore EVERYTHING but the songs.

I actually liked most of Tangled and The Jungle Book Book was much better than the movie. I don't want to ignore parts of anything.

I liked parts of Man of Steel. But it was still a stupendously terrible movie.

So 2 of my friends broke their nintendo 3DS-es playing smash bros. I'm also seeing reports online of people breaking their analog sticks.  However me and one other friend 's handhelds are perfectly fine.  The difference?

Me and my other friend are playing on nintendo 2DS-es.   So not only is the 2DS cheaper, has better battery life and doesn't have the annoying 3D that people just keep off most of the time anyway, it looks like the thing is more durable as well.

2DS master race I guess?  _{^{(well on the handheld console market anyway, pc is still the true master race)}}

Sounds like those guys are taking bad care of their hardware then. Because the 3DS analogue sticks are pretty difficult to break.

And the 2DS has the downside of being really fucking big. Which I guess is part of why they're so durable, but it kind of misses the point of a handheld.

I play intensely enough that I find tilts outright difficult in Smash and I haven't damaged the pad at all. I've probably played at least 10 hours of online play in that.
