I'll assume you caught the Fappening explanation post that was linked a page or two back. If not:

Some person managed to get a bunch of celeb nude shots from i-thing cloud storage.
Person proceeds to dole them out piecemeal, asks for bitcoin payments for more.
Person gets shitload of bitcoins, continues to deliver.
Cue media/celeb moral outrage.
Cue IT'S HAPPENING.

There's your tl;dr, which in this case I think would more appropriately mean 'Tough luck, didn't register'. Because it's that fucking banal. The only difference between this and a tabloid is that the OP delivered and people gave two shits because new media.

Oh, and the usual "If she didn't want her nudes posted all over the 'net she shouldn't have taken them!" vs. "I believe that online privacy still exists as anything other than a delusion and will continue to whiteknight until the heat death of the universe!" vs "You know that was a pretty shitty thing for the guy to do, but it was also pretty easily avoidable..." circlejerk.

We should send Joseph Kony's Lords Resistance Army up against them. Let them battle it out. I knew Rush Limbaugh was right and Obama only went after Kony because Obama hates Christians.

The Limbaugh thing was really pointing out how two faced rightwingers are. When Obama moved against Kony, a guy who gives brainwashed child slaves AK47s to fight in his "army", Rush Limbaugh slammed Obama for attacking Christians.

But, later when Kony came to more widespread attention, suddenly the right wing were crying about how Obama doesn't do anything to stop Kony's evil child traffickers.
