I don't block every site. But they have to get on my trusted list first, and now that [redacted] is reported they'll continue to be blocked. I've only been using that site for a week or so.

... today I learned nitrous leaves me entirely too lucid. Definitely don't see the appeal as anything recreational, for that. Mostly just numbing.

Bright side, it did help keep things numb. Little pain involved in the wisdom teeth coming out, but it was rather disconcerting.

Now to wait for the novocaine to wear off. Then fun times! And until then, a mouth that tastes entirely too much like blood and gauze. Unpleasant, that.

E: No, first gauze swap. Now it just kinda' tastes like blood. Blegh.

Someday I really ought to go to an orthodontist to see about the fact that I have far too many teeth for my mouth. I have no idea what my wisdoms are going to try to do.

Thing learned: After getting teeth removed, if the bleeding continues for more than a few hours, apparently a moist tea bag can help induce clotting. Good to know.

Blegh, wisdom teeth sucked for me.  Ended up getting a dry socket, so to help with that they shoved a small piece of... gunk (most technical term I have for it) into the place.  After some time apparently it was supposed to come out on its own.  That actually never happened for me, it stayed in its little hole until I went to the dentist some three months later for a cleaning.

Did I mention that it was made of some sort of seaweed extract and I could taste it every time I ate something?  Not a pleasant experience.

So I was watching a commercial for the Xbox One and I was mostly having fun and joking about.

So everytime on screen there was a game that was a shooter or action/shooter I would say "Shooter"

So... I was going "Shooter, Shooter, Shooter, Shooter, Shooter, Shooter" then the commercial ended.

REALLY? Only shooters? No RPGs, Racing games, Simulations, Fighters? SHOOTERS ONLY!?!

Shooters oddly enough is my least favorite Genre... Mostly because I kind of like the most classic gameplay of Doom and Duke Nukem over the "Call of Duty" type shooter gameplay that is popularized.

Dang I did like Time Splitters.

I'unno, I frequently end up watching movies or shows while I'm doing something reasonably mindless in a game. Most of my movie watching gets done while I'm running old raids in WoW.

Personally I could care less that I can watch TV while playing videogames... PLENTY OF TVs DO THAT ALREADY!!!

I was just flabbergasted that they were basically advertising the system with nothing but shooters...

Even if they were nothing but... RPGs or Point and Click adventure games I'd have an issue... and I love those genres (though it has been a while since I played a great classical RPG)

Shooter = War game

War game = Great for the army

I mean, not to sound like a tinhat, but I'm pretty sure the army supports soldiers playing shooters, which is why that particular genre is so popular. And since soldiers play them, civilians also get to play them.
