After a space of a day or two since noticing, I think I've managed to get the last of the chewed crisps out of my left inner ear. why do we still need our inner ear connected to our mouths

It's an emergency pressure valve. Trust me, if we didn't have it, we'd be very screwed (I had the connection blocked due to inflammation due to a cold. Then I got on a plane. THEN I ended up with a perforated eardrum.).
Yes, but why hasn't it moved? There's plenty of better places to put a pressure valve than right next to our tongue. Couldn't it be in/next to our nose or something?
I thought it was in the back of the nose...

It is. And the nose is connected to the mouth, ssssssso...

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

From my own poking around in my own mouth, I can safely say that the inner ear is inside of the mouth. It's either side of the tongue, just behind the the pad-shaped bit that you can wiggle around.

Pressurization injuries ^5!

Although mine didn't perforate, it just got vacuum-sealed for a day or two, which cost me about 10% of my hearing.

To be fair, most of those castles are in need of some repairs as well.

Thats true, but still. It's a better deal than most of those apartments.

Found this via Delta's D&D Hotspot. European castles that cost less than a shitty apartment in New York.
And you haven't yet seen the estate prices in Moscow.

I wonder how they compare to the prices in Paris.
(Especially inside the Peripherique.)

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Anyone wanna split for one of those castles? I'll throw in a ballista and the right of primae noctis on the local peasantry to go with it.

I believe so. Wait, let me check...

According to this, yes, but not much. However, our median wage is also lower, so make of it what you will.

Edit:

Lower than both in New York and Moscow. Again, not by much.

You can buy 18 different French castles for the same price as an (admittedly nice) Vancouver property. Not that each castle costs the same, no you can buy all 18 of them for the same price as the one Canadian.

If Janet ever won one of those 100+ million dollar lotterys, I'd totally convince her to move with me into castle number 5. We'd still have enough money left to start making our own money with investments, hire a staff and just live lazy for the rest of forever.
