And there's a puzzle inside.

A puzzle which appears to involve a university domain name combined with a phrase.

It's a challenge. You input a university domain name as a sort of name for the high score board, then a string. That string is hashed into some encrypted string, then compared against the system's encrypted string. Closest match has their university inserted into the comic. THIS IS AWESOME.


And that's only part of it. The wiki-dog appears to actually be growing/changing as well. EPIC COMIC IS EPIC.

Also has a very fitting title: Externality.

Oooh, and it keeps track of rankings and such, even within schools. Telling you when you got the high score for your school.
