More importantly, wolverines actually have been used as a symbol for the United States before.


As for the Queen vs. Washington, I will remind you all that Washington was apparently immune to gunfire. He was never once shot in all the battles he was embroiled in, despite being shot at so frequently that his coat is covered in bullet holes. There was also the incident where he more or less dared a Loyalist sniper to shoot him in the back.
