Holy shit. 150 friendships? Good luck with that. 150 Acquaintances you get along with, yeah okay. 150 friends you chat to, meet at social gatherings, send birthday presents? Impossible. I'd put a fairly hard cap at ~30ish.

Disclaimer : I have 3 'Best' Friends and 3-20 other friends, depending on how loose your definition is.

The problem is, that isn't just friendships. It's relations TOTAL. Your mother, that's one right there. A father, a sister, already from relatives you can lose 10. This refers to literally everyone you can think of.  Quick, name 150 people you can name. At all. that you know. it will certainly be less the 150. It refers to whom you are capable of seeing as a individual capable of independant action as opposed to generic people in the halls. Example, if you have a crazy neighbor you hate, he occupies one. He certianly isn't your friend. but you're capable of carrying out social interactions with him.
 
In a small enough town, you could know literally everybody, but everyone, regardless of your affection for them, takes up 1 in your number. Also eep inmind, it isn't a hard cap. You can have fewer, or more, but It's hard.
