There's a Scientology Guantanamo? News to me.
Yes, actually!

Scientology: immune to exaggeration.

WTF.
I've recently read an article about the date and time servers being insecure and criminals exploiting this to make old certificates valid again (such as those compromised during heartbleed or w/e).

Pretty disturbing :v

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?

Stay up until your furniture starts talking to you.

After all, talking to inanimate objects is fine. It's only when they start talking back that you have to worry.

Just made a facbook group entitled "Lets burn a Catholic" Night.

Apparently I only needed to start a chat via messaging, which I was able to do from the group page.

 ???

It's all rather confusing, really.

Worst of all...
"Okay Google"  "Thank you" no longer works either.  It used to be the cutest thing.

...  Bewilderingly, it doesn't even do a Google search for "Thank you".  It brings up a list of instructions on what you CAN say.

In fact, apparently I'm supposed to say "Show me how to get to X" now.  For whatever reason.
ffffffffff

It's leaf falling season so I just did all the maintenance on all the pump equipment and emptied buckets and such. (protip: Don't ever buy a house with a pool, it's not worth it)

Just about finished everything up and was cleaning out one of the buckets where one of the filters get emptied into and it seems some genius, (probably one of the pool guys we used to employ) saw the holes at the bottom of the bucket and decided to put another bucket underneath that one to keep the first bucket from leaking.

Naturally those holes were there to keep water from building up in the bucket, since it's where you empty a filter full of waterlogged leaves and junk.   I pick up the bucket.  The bottom bucket stays attached just long enough to lift up and drop off, landing on my foot(ow) and spraying sludge water the color of coca-cola and smelling like death all over me.  To top it off the first bucket, holes now free of their prison is now lifted over my head from the sudden change in weight and is gleefully emptying itself of a season's worth sludge like a sprinkler system of despair on my face.

Don't ever get a pool.
