Well Battle Royale is a bit more of a political satire if you understand where it is coming from (Child Delinquency is, well was, a serious problem, and the country has a very "Us against them" attitude towards it that only aggravated the problem).

So it isn't complete trash. In fact it is quite smart and if anything it is the trashy aspects that gets in the way of how poignant it actually is (Kind of hard to take it as a serious political satire when "The hot but dangerous one" is an actual character)

The only MAJOR flaw with the movie was... how the trap worked...

They haven't wrecked the rest of the site again yet (or that might be youtube center hiding any nonsense thats happened recently), so I'm not especially bothered by the transparency thing.

Is this just about the slight change to Youtube? It doesn't really seem any better or worse to me. I don't know why people are talking about corporate offices though.

Friend told me about a deal on a SSD he recently got on ebay, found the same drive on amazon for the same price and purchased it (plus a 2.5" to 3.5" mount remembering we had trouble installing it with that and knowing that unlike his PC my PC takes standard 3.5" mounts)

At the same time on the 'recommended for me' I saw a shiny new headset.  My job no longer supplies us with headsets, and realizing I need a backup (while not required per say it is highly recommended to have a backup) I purchased a gaming headset that cost as much as the SSD drive.  Then I realized.  I just fell for advertising.

Yes, I needed a headset, yes I wanted to finally see the performance difference between a SSD and HDD for myself, but advertising! I bought into it!  I am now officially an average consumer and as easily swayed by the word "sale" as all those people that trample eachother to death on black friday!    I can already feel the urge to deep deeper into the checking account I usually only realize exists on rent and bill day!
