To me it would be a safe space that would do one or more of these three things
1) Be antagonistic or caustic to those outside that space
2) To indecently sensor or be closed off to valid criticism.
3) To be antagonistic or caustic to those within that space.

Or alternatively
4) A Safe Space in Negative World run by Luigi.

Well, a volcano can be very caustic both to those within and outside that space. So it definitely qualifies

A Negative safe space would be a safe space designed for people who, rather than actual trauma, just want a echo chamber where their ideas can't be shot down by logical arguments. ie: it's for a college kid who just really wants to sit in a room and believe that anyone who calls her sexual identity as an attack helicopter "weird" is a neo-nazi.

Or /pol/. From whence the dark forces of Mordor meet to discuss their God-Emperor Donald Trump and his father, Adolf Hitler, without people wondering where the statistic they're posting are peer-reviewed.

A positive safe space would be somewhere where a rape victim could spend some time away from dudes.



Generally the difference is that Positive safe spaces stay in one small area whereas the residents of Negative Safe Spaces try to expand like the bloody roman empire and make the entire world bow to their shitty ideology.

Do you mean somewhere where rather than something being specifically protected in one place it's specifically unprotected/attacked everywhere outside of that space, forming a de facto safe space?

Or if you mean an anti-safe space, then an easy example is anything comedy-related.

I mean there was the time a protest created a safe space to ban journalists from the premises... It turned out to not work (You can't make a public demonstration and then ban specific people of the public)... And well, not a lot of good things happened there.
