Ronald "Plump of Helmets" (Blackdutchie):
(5) It is finished. Borrowing Sheb's land-boat, you use your yoke to attach a pair of oxen to it. At first, your invention barely causes a stir, until people begin to realize how long the oxen worked, and more importantly, how they didn't fall over dead. You quickly show the farmers how to build the yoke, and soon every farmer is builting one in his spare time, eager to try it out for the next crop.
Ochita (Ochita):
Despite the heaviness of your heart, you know that life will always go on. When you are not feeling so terribly depressed, you work on the boat you are making, or watching the construction of the temple, or helping the farmers impliment your ideas on irrigation. (3) The farmers, when they aren't working on the temple, are eager to start digging, easily seeing the advantages from such an idea. Soon, the marker stones for each farm will have to be moved back, as each farm increases in size.
Diakron (Diakron):
You work on making more spears, but more importantly, you help with the construction of the temple. Of course, with so many helping hands, it is hard for you to always find work, so you continue with Ochita's quern idea. (3+1) Soon enough, you have put the finishing touches on the quern. Many of the farmers are impressed by it, but you know how long it would take to give every individual farmer one. As you look at the stone blocks coming from Ulmitast, your mind wanders, thinking about a giant quern, powered by oxen. A man can dream.
Oleb I (Nirur Torir):
Your pride more hurt than your body, you go somewhere safe to continue your ideas on numberacy. (5) Of course! It's so simple. You quickly find Ronald (whose house you were hiding in) and tell him your ideas. One tick represents a finger, a V is worth five ticks, and a star is worth five Vs. Then if you wanted to record how much of one thing you have, you would simply draw a picture of that thing, and put how many ticks, Vs or stars after it to show how much of it you have! It's so simple!
THE TEMPLE:
(5+3) With hard work, dedication, friendship, and a large amount of shame, the temple is finally built. While it is not the largest building in the village, it is made completely out of stone, and can hold ten people at once, inside of its dark interior. Despite whatever flaws it has, the villagers are happy, having built it with their own two hands. More importantly, some of the craftsmen of the village are inspired by the latest developments, and soon the village is a buzz with words such as 'support wall' and 'rotational force.'.
New profession:
Builder: If you were an artist, the world would be your canvas. Concerned with technology and science, you get a +1 to build, whether it is buildings, or a new way to plow.
The villagers of Ulmitast, happy to have helped, regularly return to the village, on boats filled with various goods. For every villagers from Ulmitast that arrives, a villager from Nilakost Uristrodum goes the other way. When they return, they are laden with various goods from Ulmitast, which are in high demand. Some of these villagers are even talking about trading full time!
New profession:
Trader: In a life full of adventure, you can't stay still. You are always looking for new markets, or the best deals or simply just trying to survive. As such, you get a bonus to trading, and scouting.
GOVERNMENT:
(5) The villagers, fearful of the council's judgment, are surprised when Diakron proposes his two-tiered system. The villagers readily accept, and the first elections are held. Needless to say, the first act of the General Consensus is to pardon all the
villagers citizens who were part of the mob.
With the waters returning to their usual vigour, the farmers plant another crop, eager to test out Ochita's channels, and Diakron's quern.

LANDMARKS:
The village of Nilakost Uristrodum has a river running beside it. Several farms line the river, with small channels lining the sides of each farm. Currently, a maximum of 500 farmers could work here, for a fertility rate of 4, with the local villagers being able to draw 1000 units of water from the river.
MAJOR BUILDINGS:
At the centre of the village is a dusty area, used for public and religous events. A stone temple, able to hold ten people, sits beside it. Inside that stone temple are statues of the people who died during Ronald's expedition to Ulmitast.
RELIGION:
The villagers of Nilakost Uristrodum currently follow a type of spirit worship, led by Oleb I, the chief shaman. Ever since the tragedy that occurred during Ronald's expedition, some of the villagers are spiritually unsure.
GOVERNMENT:
The village is led by a council of five people, called the Nobility, who control most of the development in the village. To include new people into the Nobility, a vote is taken. If more than 4/5ths of the members vote in favour, the candidate joins the Nobility.
Below the Nobility is the General Consensus, where %5 of the population proportionally represent the workers. Their responsibility is to hold people on trail.
Historically, the murder of another man has a sentence of 1 year of force labour to the village, which some people think is not harsh enough.
TECHNOLOGY:
The village has no impressive technologies beyond the bow and arrow. They have boats, made of reeds, and land-boats, made of wood, pulled by oxen, which they have managed to domesticate.
Hand-powered querns are also in use.
The villagers of Nilakost Uristrodum are starting to use a base five system to keep track of numbers.
MILITARY:
The village defends itself with any farmers that can lay their hands on a pointy stick, or a bow and some arrows. No armour what-so-ever.
