I'd say it might be a good idea to talk to Emma about earlier, she's probably pretty traumatised. If possible we should also try to teach her a bit of Muay Thai or more boxing, otherwise she's a walking target for anyone who decides to try and blackmail us. Though... it might not be that profitable to do so given our attitude towards death and love of ... LACE SUITS!!!!!

Though for missions, recruit would be good.

You make a pot of coffee while Alice shows her map of the city to you. She marks several areas where we could pick up territory and recruits. The coffee is finished.
You make enough cups for everyone, and the gang passes the coffee. They get themselves some water instead.
You take a sip and place the coffee on the table next to your chair. Everything begins floating violently, you believe you hear war sirens off in the distance. You calmly look forward, then take another sip. You place the cup back down. Everything drops back into place.
You'd be freaking out over this bizarre event, had it not been for the coffee shop incident. Emma looks horrified, Alice appears to have been too busy explaining things to notice the event, and Logan looks disinterested as he always does.

We can either get a chef, a cop(the first decent bodyguard we can get), or more gang members.

If we get the chef then a restaurant will be under our command.
The cop gives you no territory, but some of his friends will leave the force with him and join our currently nonexistent cause.
The gang members give us another slum.

The update was referencing WIZARD! stealing this game's physics. Freed is awesome(literal definition, not slang definition) enough to fix that little problem by calmly drinking coffee.

I'll get to work on the update in a double post.

I'll be using Random.org for skill gains from now on. This will also be true in JUSTICE! after the major update when everything becomes open. The numbers will either be 5-10, or 1-15.

You decide to stay at home for once. It turns out that the farmhands built a shooting range for you, thank you Lance!
You practice Marksman and Reloading for a while. For once Emma isn't shaking out of horror, crying, or attempting to look strong. She's calm! Meh, back to gun practice.
Alice and Logan watch you shoot a few of the targets. Logan seems to have fallen asleep, and Alice has joined in on the practice. You think for a bit, then tell Alice to show Emma how to use a gun.

So who will we take with us to see the cop?

At any rate we should try to take someone who can shoot ( possibly Logan in case we need help negotiating?) as a bodyguard.

The cop is the first individual family member that we won't get from a story mission. He's also going to be present in the story mission that establishes our main goal in this game.

Ironically enough we're the best individual at shooting in the family so far thanks to that natural 15.
Anyone have any complaints to bringing Logan?

Kinda want emma to get some mob mentality... dont want her to keep passing out from something she should be used to as a surgeon/doctor...

She's used to death, but not used to murder. You seem to forget that she's just some random doctor we thought was good enough to be our permanent head surgeon, she isn't really accustomed to seeing people shot for pretty much no reason at all.
You've all figured out by now that Logan is an apathetic pessimist, so I'll just state it right here and now. Freed, on the other hand, is kind of like Black Mage from 8-bit Theater.
