Did anybody else notice that killing zombies with incendiary rounds doesn't seem to work, or is it just me? Good thing that the Chryssalids are pink rectangles while zombies are black. (Though the fact that almost all of the missing graphics are black kinda sucks)

Also, on a completely unrelated note, nobody would do anything illegal like give other people the graphics they get from running the extractor, right?

How does the game speed work?

Like, if I don't have the speed at 5hr constantly, is it "instant lose"?

Game speed is how fast time moves by in geoscape. Basically, turn it to 1 sec when you are fiddling with research or buying something. Most of the time, you'll want it at 5 hours, to make the game go by quicker. However, if you really want to, you could play at 1 sec. In other words, you don't need to keep the speed at 5 hours all the time.

But, how does it work in multiplayer?

I don't really know, but I assume that game goes at the slowest speed set to make it fair for both players.

The game goes at the speed of the person with the slowest setting.

In case of a desynch (Not more then a few hours over a few weeks when it happened to me), the time gets set to the host's time when a battle occurs.

If a gentleman's agreement not to read the spoilers by an LP partner cannot be trusted, then I don't know what to trust.

Also, I'd really like to try this game as the Aliens.
Join the Hamachi network then.

Then what?

Heh, heh, heh. The aliens may have been terrorizing whatever cities they want, but those days are over! Look out Mutons, I've got heavy plasmas, and I'm not afraid to use them!

Also, met an Ethereal. And I haven't research psionics yet.

Just join the Hamachi network, and ask on the chat if anyone wants to play.

Actually, I was curious what happens once two people have arranged a game.  Are the "hamachi" ISPs used while launching the game in multiplayer, or does the game go into some public folder?

Oh, and is there some way to know if the existing players are already engaged?

Yeah, you use the Hamachi IPs, and you can just send someone a message asking if they're doing anything.
