This morning I got up just before sunrise, and sat down next to the Bote's steering wheel to watch the vista; No matter how many I see they are beautiful.  However, as if on cue, Raspul came running up to the Bote.  I quickly noticed that his appearance was different; His face appeared like he had been jumping around in flour, and hadn't quite gotten the stuff off.  More unnerving however was his eyes; It appeared that his sclera had absorbed the central black, leaving two pale, lifeless orbs.

Raspul then commenced bragging about how he had succeeded at becoming immortal, and how I was wrong... I just took a sip of holy water and offered some to him.  I nearly threw the flask at him, but really didn't want to be kicked out of the group again.  Raspul deserved it though. 

Raspul told me about how he was going to cure death and make everybody an undead.  By the time he finished the sunrise was done.  I really wish I was allowed to kill him.

Since I had nothing better to do, I went with Maelrigar to sell the purple orbs to the mayor at the town hall.  After learning that it was a public building and we weren't supposed to knock, Mael and the others went inside.  Except for Stihe, who stayed outside with the animals.  She asked me if I wanted to leave Emanon with her;  When I said 'no' she seemed surprised for some reason.

Inside we met a receptionist.  The receptionist directed us to some meeting between the military and government.  He also informed me that it is considered impolite to talk to someone from horseback.  I immediately dismounted my horse- that must be why everybody seems to dislike me!

I led my horse into the meeting room behind Maelrigar, who proudly announced that he had found purple orbs in the caves.  A long conversation ensued about the orbs powers, how to destroy them and what price we should sell them, so I sort of ignored Mael and just argued with Raspul.  Until the general yelled at us to be quiet and glared at us, at which point I mounted my horse and glared back. 

Then I went back to discussing chopping off Raspul's head with Raspul until a very old mage came in.  Then Ethan showed him Males orbs, which were apparently made of souls.  Then there was a bunch of discussion on whether the souls should be freed, or kept for study.  It was eventually decided that all but one of the orbs would go to various churches for study, and the remaining orb was destroyed.

Yo dawg, I herd all y'all like a bit of worldly fluff here and there so I stuck a hole in the ground.
It's not a very important hole in the ground, but it'll make sense that it's there if you ask the right person about it later.

In other news, it sucks when the GM's maptools program crashes. No chatlogs, had to move all of the tokens again... yeesh.

Also, today Maelrigar learned two valuable lessons.
1) That last 1 hit point on your enemy is still enough for it to utterly maim you.
2) Anything whose name is prefaced with the word "Legendary" (and didn't give itself that name out of egotism) is probably not something to be trifled with.

Today Maelrigar learned two valuable lessons.
1. Remember to include your third attack. It will slay the beast. (Next level I get 5!)
2. Nobody else could possibly have taken that hit, and that makes him the tank. Shit.

Oh, that's what you'd like to think! The truth is, though... Yeah, I can't prove anything. But you gotta admit, it got pretty awkward in the chat. Absolutely hilarious, but awkward.
