Analyze the mist. If it seems harmless try absorbing it through Metamancy. This is the metaphysical world, so it shouldn't kill us.

You have no idea what the mist is, but it seems like its the meta-air, so you try to absorb some and feel like you got the breath kicked out of you. just breathing it seems fine, though. huh.

(be prepared for much overuse of meta- here, I don't really have many ideas for names for all of this metastuff right now)

Try to adapt to the metair, and use Psionics to open a visible path to follow. If any more inhabitants show up with their mysterious weapons, just do the same things as last time.

what the heck are his bolts made out of? thats pushed you back suprisingly far.
Obviously the meta-area around Reyk Figaro is not as peaceful as the physical one. you blast forth a path in the mist, and search for a less dangerous place.

You try to psionically get a 'gun', but the thing that had one is too far away, and you can't find any through the semi-static of the metaphysical plane.

You think Wall, and slash a line through the fog with your armored, gloved hand. Its probably useless, but the fog (up to about 4 feeet above the line) has condensed a bit into a wall shape. maybe an adjective...
